#3279597 NFL Free Agency Update Thread

Posted by KillerKat on 12 March 2015 - 12:21 PM

Raiders are signing former Eagles S Nate Allen.

the agreement was completed in essence last night, but the two sides wrapped it up this morning.

Raiders were hosting Allen for a visit on Wednesday.

Allen, 27, is a former second round pick of the Eagles back in 2010. He signed a one-year contract to return to Philadelphia last year.

In 2014, Allen recorded 62 tackles, one sack, four interceptions, three fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and five pass defenses over the course of 15 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 28 safety out of 87 qualifying players.

that was one of the guys we should've looked at.

This.

I hope our goal is to win a SB and not just be satisfied winning the division

Of course we're satisfied with just winning the division. That's why Shula is still here.

#3271853 Panthers Transaction List (Updates)

Bersin is a good WR. What is the harm in signing him to a cheap one year deal? He will likely compete for a last on the depth chart WR spot. No big deal. The man has very sure hands and is a good possession receiver. No need to hate on  him because he was thrown in to return kicks last year because we had no other options. I can promise you he will never be asked to return kicks again. Just catch passes. And he can do that really well.

The problem is separation and slowness.

They signed Ginn and I guess Bersin gets the good ol boy contract again

Bersin is going to get more chances than any other player in franchise history.

Awesome sauce. He was our 2nd best RB all season.

#3270765 Texans will release WR Andre Johnson today

People talking about age. lmfao. He is still a top receiver in the league and would be a perfect stop gap.

I wonder what other players tha has played for the Panthers, Left for 1 year, and then came back to us?

Kevin Greene. Was Moose a year or more?

#3268371 Packers sign Randall Cobb to 4 yr / $ 40 million contract

Posted by KillerKat on 07 March 2015 - 11:08 PM

I'm starting to think we will have to settle for a Crabtree, Shorts like signing. If Smith gets a 8-9 million contract then Kenny Britt may ask for something similar which means he would be out of our league. It looks like we will have to go to the draft if we want a top WR.

I'd be fine with Crabtree.

I'm flabbergasted by this teams love for Gary Williams. .

He sucks and is never healthy why do we keep on letting him steal money from us??

He had a few good games 3-4 years ago.

#3267019 Hawks sign Lynch

This speaks volumes how much the Seahawks front office and coaches think Wilson can lead the team on his own.
