And that "the answer" really wasn't already on the roster

#3098880 Should BOA host Buffalo vs Jets game?

Posted by panthers34 on 20 November 2014 - 05:27 PM

Im from Syracuse and playing it in the Carrier Dome would make the most sense to me. It's a little small since it only holds about 50000 people but there are so many Bills fans here and the Bills coach Doug Marrone coached at Syracuse a few years ago

#3095601 proehl on philly

That's a horrible gripe. You try catching a 50 years bomb in your hands while falling.

I wasn't just talking about that play. He's a chest catcher in general. And youre making that play sound way harder than it actually was. A good corner would have turned around and made a play on the ball and if that was the case philly wouldnt have been able to just let it drop in his chest. The only reason Philly fell to the ground was so he could use his body to catch it. In other situations where the DB is playing the ball he will have to stay on his feet and go up and get the ball

All I'm saying is it's a bad habit to catch it with your chest and he needs to learn to go up and get it with two hands when its appropriate. On that 50 yard bomb the DB left his back to philly and didn't make a play on the ball so it was fine letting the ball fall into his chest but just in general he needs to learn to catch with his hands

should we be concerned that neither of Cam's feet are on the ground?

#3092559 Draft position will be markedly better than last year.

Posted by panthers34 on 16 November 2014 - 11:44 PM

I would love Melvin Gordon but the best that could happen is we draft a OT in the first and somehow Gurley falls to the second round since he just tore his ACL if he even goes pro

#3092446 Brandon Williams

Does anyone else think that if he was on Denver he would be almost as good as Julius Thomas? He's another former basketball player like a lot of these star TEs tend to be. He has almost as much athletic talent as any TE in the league and from now on the only way he is going to learn and get better is playing. I'm not saying he should play over Olsen because Olsen is a top 5 TE but he can at least take Olsen's third down pass protecting role so Olsen can go out for a pass more often. He should be on the field more and we should be running more two TE sets because he can block catch and run after the catch.

The problem isn't that Cam is trying to make steak with bread and peanut butter. The problem is that Cam has huge wholes in his bread

KK Short was in the honorable mentions

#3035709 Why don't we try out Micheal Sam?

Posted by panthers34 on 21 October 2014 - 03:29 PM

He sucks and he's gay. That's why.

A player that sucks doesn't win SEC defensive player of the year and the fact that he is gay is irrelevant

#3035621 Josh Norman

When Norman and Bene come back the defense will be much better

#3035609 Why don't we try out Micheal Sam?

Posted by panthers34 on 21 October 2014 - 03:05 PM

To be honest when I would watch highlights of Kony Ealy after we drafted him Michael Sam impressed me more than Ealy. And thats in Ealy's highlights that he impressed me more

#3034388 Clinton Portis on WFNZ yesterday....

We picked up his 5th year option for next year already. Cam and Luke are the two players on this team that aren't going anywhere

#3019080 QBs have a rating of 113.1 when throwing at Cason in 2014

Posted by panthers34 on 13 October 2014 - 02:07 PM

Cason also fugged up big time yesterday when he poorly batted a ball and it still got to Sanu. Bengals ended up getting 3 when it easily could've been 6 the other way.

He got a hand on the ball. Not much else he could have done. I blame White more because after Cason tipped it White went for a pick instead of just batting it down. But either way it was just an unlucky play and a great catch by Sanu

#3019076 QBs have a rating of 113.1 when throwing at Cason in 2014

Posted by panthers34 on 13 October 2014 - 02:04 PM

If he's in fact second on the team in tackles that's a horrible thing. A CB with alot of tackles typically means he's getting abused in the passing game. Example: Cason

Not completely true. If you watch the games he actually comes up in the run game and makes great tackles a couple times a game and knocks the ball out every once in a while. He is getting most of his tackles because our front 7 is not what they were last year and he is making tackles down field on run plays because our line isnt getting great push. Also anyone in the league can get open with the amount of time the QBs have had to throw against us and you cannot blame that on Cason. Like I said Cason has been very solid and the only reason he is letting up catches at all is because the WRs have all the time in the world to get open.
