#3324825 Latest mock from Will Brinson (multiple trades)

Posted by panthers34 on 17 April 2015 - 12:39 PM

I feel like Humpheries is just like Moses in last years draft (Not talent wise). Everyone has us taking him but I just can't imagine him being our pick since there is no way he is the best player available at pick 25

#3324811 Who Is Likely Cut (offseason fun)

Posted by panthers34 on 17 April 2015 - 12:32 PM

Possible Cuts

Joe Webb

Either Philly or Cotchery

Fozzy or Todman (I'm hoping Fozzy is the one that stays)

Frank Alexander or Wes Horton

Any of the safety's could be gone besides Boston

Ben Jacobs and or Kevin Reddick

Nate Chandler or Johnathan Martin

There will certainly be good camp competition this year

#3307710 Someone Explain This Chart To Me

I think it's saying Cleveland mathematically should have the best draft based on where they pick and the number of picks they have

#3305866 My Ultimate BPA Pipe-Dream 1-5 Round Mock Draft

Posted by panthers34 on 30 March 2015 - 05:05 PM

Lets draft a prospect thats coming off an ACL tear, that will work for us. I mean look at the 49ers, Lattimore worked out wonderfully for them.. Oh wait.

Huge difference. Lattimore tore EVERYTHING in his knee. AP tore his ACL and came back stronger. I know it's a different position but Thomas Davis tore his 3 times and looks as good as anyone in the league at his position.

I'm not saying it's not a risk but there is a good chance that at his Age and how stronger Gurleys legs appear to be, he should come back just fine.

#3304992 Movin' the Chains Mock Draft

Dont understand the huddles love of shaq. the guy has no instincts. truthfully he sucks and is a average nfl athlete if you look at sparq ratings.

A little harsh but I get what your saying. I dont understand the Thomas Davis comparison at all because Shaqs instincts are no where near TDs

#3302875 Why I think Owamagbe Odighizuwa will be the pick and should be the pick.

Yeah I think the Panthers are hoping  for another KK Short and Kony Ealy situation where he falls to the second round.

#3301259 Throwback Thursday....

Posted by panthers34 on 26 March 2015 - 08:58 PM

I bet Tony Gonzoles would beg to differ. I still have that beautiful INT Luke caught against Gonzo burned in my mind. The one from '13 at home against the Falcons?

Yeah I remember that, that was a great play. He's still good in man coverage it's just the one area he has the most room to improve

#3300929 Throwback Thursday....

you have to be joking

Why is that so crazy to say? Don't fault Luke for only being 23 years old because he is the second best defensive player in football right now behind Watt. I really don't know how much better someone could possibly play at MLB than Luke does. How fast he makes reads and reacts is the best I have ever seen. He still needs to improve on his Man coverage especially down field against TEs but besides that I dont see many problems with his game

#3295162 The genius that is the Gettleman 2014 draft

Would have loved Jarvis Landry

#3292766 Sacks + QB Hits allowed, 2014

Posted by panthers34 on 20 March 2015 - 05:04 PM

Christ, can you imagine Luck with the Denver line?

Its not only the line Denver has, it's mostly how fast Peyton gets the ball out and also how they are usually running the ball at the end of games

#3289302 Todd Gurley to visit with the Panthers

Posted by panthers34 on 18 March 2015 - 11:39 AM

What if we traded out of the first round and got a early second rounder and then took Gurley? I'd be okay with that especially if we got another second rounder next year out of it

#3287777 Stephen Hill

Hopefully Jaelen Strong can be the number 2

#3287350 Kurt Coleman Info

Posted by panthers34 on 16 March 2015 - 11:13 PM

Dude was terrible for Philly. Was a ST player moved to starter role bc of lack of depth. Can't cover and average tackler.

Rather have Louis Delmas

Agreed. I think a lot of us are just trying to talk ourselves into liking him. He really is nothing special. Bad in coverage and average tackler.

Nothing at all like Mike Mitchell who was a much better tackler and had way more recovery speed in coverage. Mitchell also brought swagger with his game that we wont get with Coleman. He can be a backup and special teams player but certainly isn't going to be as good as Mitchell.

#3263116 Bene and Luke Make NFL's All-Under 25 Team

Pretty sweet that Kuechly is only 23. He's still the age of a rookie and has his best football ahead of him

#3261200 LT vs RT

Posted by panthers34 on 03 March 2015 - 02:59 PM

Scouts over react when it comes to college LTs. I feel like they say that every LT would be better if they moved inside or to RT even if that player has no experience at anything besides LT. They just overreact since LT is the most important position on the line.

Anyways if we draft a LT in the first he will more than likely stay there
