#2787675 Greg Hardy Has a Collection of 25-30 Firearms

see my above post for why I feel that way

Edit:  To answer your question quickly, the right of the people to bear arms was because there was no standing army, so an armed populous was necessary to raise militaries for the individual State defense, and the nation's defense.

I wasn't until the Civil War that we had a standing US army even in times of peace, so the necessity to have an armed populous in order to raise a militia was no longer necessary.

That is why I say the 2nd amendment became for all intents and purposes became obsolete after the Civil War.

Those wanting to fight the federal government are 150 years too late

I have to go to bed now but this is a good subject that really shouldn't be here but its' here now. To your reply I like to say no army or police for that matter protect my house. I do. So I am my own militia so to speak.

It doesn't matter if you own it or just have it, it takes the same kind of person

So what are you implying here? That anyone who has a firearm is a bad person? I come here to the Huddle to read threads on the Panthers and the Hornets. I'm not here to listen to your leftist political views. Please take that to off topic board.

#2250252 Rockets trying to trade Thomas Robinson

did you? I can look at his stats, and see that he has been unwanted by two franchises in less than a year to tell me something isn't clicking with this kid. Furthermore, one of those franchises is still putting up with Royce White!!

for a second rounder I really would go either way, but no way am I wasting anything other than that on him

Yes, lets look at stats because that's what the smart people do. TRob averaged 4.8 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game in his rookie year. Gerald Wallace (one our greatest players) averaged 3.3 points per game and 2.1 rebounds per game his first 3 years with SAC.

So what's the problem with trading for a guy who is almost twice as good as one of our greatest players? And yes I'm being sarcastic.
