Yes!! How any Panther fan would want our game flexed to prime time is beyond me. Have you not learned by now that 1:00 PM under the radar is when we thrive?!

You had a fleur de lis as your avatar for awhile, go fug yourself.

Lol, the NFL has a de facto playoff game in a Dome, a battle between two of the most historic franchises for the NFC North title... And they go with Pittsburgh/Cincinnati? Wtf?

Honestly, anyone who cheers when someone gets hurt is classless.

#3147695 What would you do? What would RR do?

Posted by Dollar Store Dave on Yesterday, 06:42 PM

What's amazing is that both Rivera and Smith have the possibility to make some boneheaded coaching decision. We could be looking at some sort of high level chess match between idiots.

The only thing that would've been more poetic if he would've somehow gotten a personal foul for taunting after the play.

#3142929 When it comes to coaching...

How does coaching help a dude make a mid-play adjustment due to eye contact?

I'm feeling that this Panthers team is going to be a miracle. Come out of nowhere to win it all, all on Cam's back. Aints lose this week on a very controversial end of play call, similar to the Seahawks Packers "fail mary." We keep it close against the Browns but close it out at the end with a game winning field goal as time expires. Then we go to Atlanta with confidence and determination and handle them by 14-17 points. On to the playoffs where Cam makes Richard Sherman his bitch and throws to KB for 200+ yards and a pair of TDs to win a game that we have in control aside from a garbage TD in the final minutes. On to Detroit, who will be the 2 seed. Amazing defensive battle with 7 total turnovers. The one in our favor is what gets the win, Bene for 6. Final score 17-10. After the Packers handle the Cardinals in Arizona and the Pats dominated the Ravens moving on to play Denver, everybody and their mother hyped up an elite QB Super Bowl dual with no one picking us to win. We shock the world by getting a quick score and never looking back, controlling time of possession and playing hard ass defense. 24-17. On to the rematch, the game we've been waiting for for a decade. Panthers-Patriots. By this point DeAngelo is on IR for a non-existant injury. Stewart dominates the struggling Pats' run defense (the will lose Wilfork again in the playoffs) and Cam is perfect, albeit not being asked to do much. But the x-factor is one particular matchup. TD on Gronk. And having TD, the best coverage OLB in the game, will ultimately lead to our win. Gronk's Super Bowl stat line: 7 targets, 1 rec, 8 yards, 0 TD, 1 fumble. LaFell will get 100 yards partially in garbage time and the Huddle will be going insane. In the end after keeping it close the Patriots have an opportunity to kick a FG to go up by 3 with 40 seconds left. Gostkowski misses the 45 yarder (leaving Adam laughing at home) and we take over with no timeouts. First play is a 30 yard pass to KB right over Revis Island. Brady is seen bitching on the sideline as the Patriots call their first timeout. Next play Bell falls on his face and Cam is sacked. He's seen getting up with a slight grin on his face. After the Patriots' 2nd timeout, we shockingly drop back to pass. Cam evades 4 defenders and takes off, smiling all the way. He picks up the first, slides, gets up and does his 1st down Superman signal as a Patriots player gets in his face. Belichick is seen walking off the field as our reliable kicker makes the game winning field goal.

A wall of text appears!

It used confusion. It's super effective.

#3141866 The Nightmare Scenario

Posted by Dollar Store Dave on 18 December 2014 - 01:26 PM

What a lot of people are not talking about is next years schedule. We play the afc south. Titans, jags, Texans and the colts mixed in with this decrepit NFC south.

Could those teams bulk up? Sure. but unlikely. We should dominate next year, hopefully.

You can't count on the NFC South being as bad next year. This season is a total outlier in the history of the division. I don't think it will be the Aints (it very well could, though), but I believe there will be a brutally strong team in the NFC South next year. Battling through the bullshit that has been this season is going to make everyone tougher.

As far as the South, if we played the Texans right now, I'm not convinced we could win. If we played the Colts right now, I think we might could win, but probably not. Had it been four weeks ago, I would say the Colts would've beaten us by 30. The Titans are in total dysfunction, but the murmurs are they're going after Cutler...

The moral is, you can't keep a coaching staff that's proven to be awful because the schedule is easier next year.

McDonald is the one who kept playing after his assault, at the same time Hardy was outcast.
