Don't feel sorry for the 70,000 in the least. How many job were lost when skyrocketing oil prices caused companies to scale back or go under with fuel costs. If the prices hadn't gone to obscene levels in the first place most of those 70,000 would never have been hired in the first place. It sucks for you, and I get that but I know FAR more people hurt by crazy fuel costs than I do that benefitted from it.

I see what you did there.

Quoting the same article it says "freed up 15 million in cap space for 13 and 14."

His new cap number from those years goes up by 1 million per year from his base salary climbing back up.

Still saved them 15 million in cap space, if the article is read completely.

Ice up son,..

That's true except I quoted the restructure Brady just completed and your quote is for the one he did in 2013.

Point being at the end of the day the RECENT restructure Brady signed didn't help the Pats from a cap perspective.

Did I read that wrong?

Oh yes I did. Freed up 15 million for 2 years cap space.

Tell me again how Tom Bradys new deal works. Im not the brightest bulb.

Quote from that article "And Brady’s restructure doesn’t lower the Patriots’ cap number. In fact, his cap numbers will go up a million each season – $14 million in 2015, $15 million in 2016 and $16 million in 2017."

I'm glad you admit your short comings and hopefully if you work diligently comprehension won't be just a pipe dream

Actually id like Cam to take a Brady type of contract he just resigned to.

16 million a year with performance escalators but a bigger injury guarantee clause.

Brady did that so the year coming his cap figure dropped 8 million.

You cant have 1 guy making 1/4 of the salary cap if you want superbowls.

The seahawks will find that out. Right now ol Russell makes 650k. Watch what happens when its 25million.

That isn't how Brady's deal works. In fact Brady's cap hit went up by 1 million next year and the two after that. The only thing that changed is that Brady can be cut and the team not have any dead money. His per year cap hit went up 1mil each year.

I'd say leave the kid alone. Every once in a great while someone gets some clarity and we have a TB post that ends in a positive light. You just embrace it for what it is and appreciate it. We get back to our normal douchbaggery quickly enough.

Glad you had the connection Cammoon. People are more alike than they care to realize and I think you got a glimpse of it. Good for you
