#3283319 70 million reasons to be very optimistic heading into next season.

I am not paniking either. Most of the teams that spend big in free agency are sitting at home in January. I think Gettleman is doing a solid job trying to build through the draft and add mid level pieces through free agency.

#3247045 Fox's Bears switching to 3-4 defense

It is ridicoulous to imply that the 3-4 is some kind of mystery to John Fox but he did seem to favor the 4-3. How long has he been around football? I know his conservative nature drove the fans crazy but it is funny how little credit he recieves. He did some good things while he was here and was dealt a crappy hand in 2010.

#3195972 Draft Picks should be #25, #57, #80?

Posted by doghead28 on 11 January 2015 - 12:03 AM

In case I am mistaken the name of the game is to try to win a championship. I don't want to be a team that has a culture of losing. There is no guarantee that a top 10 pick will work out. It is not every year I get to go to and enjoy a home playoff win. The Panthers played the Seahawks tough too. Screw playing for a draft pick, I want a Lombardi trophy. The more playoff experience Cam and the rest of the team can get the better.

#3160165 Giving Rivera credit.

He had the guys ready to go. I will admit.

#3159812 Boomer says seedings need to be changed

Posted by doghead28 on 28 December 2014 - 08:13 PM

I dont' think they need screw with the seedings. What about the team who is strong in a sorry division should those wins be discredited somehow. The NFL needs to keep it how it is. They are one of the few leagues who has it right.

I stood there watching with my sunglasses on and my arms folded with no emotion.

#3112443 Yes we lost today, but my hell has just begun

I feel your pain. I've awakened in the middle of the night before to realize I didn't move that dang thing and had to move.

#3094322 Amini Silatolu

Posted by doghead28 on 17 November 2014 - 10:44 PM

I think Norwell is already playing better. I would just keep Norwell and Turner in there and let them develop. I'm ready to Amini is a backup. Norwell seems to have a nasty streak that this line needs. Time will tell.

Wait a minute, Bell is left handed he will be natural at left tackle. That was Ron Rivera's assesment.

#3079647 Cam is Vick 2.0

Posted by doghead28 on 10 November 2014 - 11:27 PM

I'll give Cam one more year. The Oline is terrible. He is coming off surgery ,but with that said it is his fourth season. He has to learn to put touch on the ball. This season offensive debacle is not all on Cam. I'm not sure Peyton Manning could do much with this line. It is hard to be patient.

#3079336 Will there be a "sacrificial lamb" cut tomorrow?

Posted by doghead28 on 10 November 2014 - 11:06 PM

Rivera loves to do that I say he should cut Shula and the online lol.

#3079049 defense

Posted by doghead28 on 10 November 2014 - 10:49 PM

The defense has actually played decent. The offense is putrid it is very sad.

#3074696 Wilson completes 10 passes and Seattle still scores 38 points

Posted by doghead28 on 09 November 2014 - 08:20 PM

It called an offensive line and running game.

#3059319 This one is on the refs!

Posted by doghead28 on 30 October 2014 - 10:40 PM

The officiating was questionable, but not the reason the Panthers lost. The offense is just not consistent enough.

#3059287 Cam has never been this off before....

Posted by doghead28 on 30 October 2014 - 10:37 PM

Cam doesn't trust line and it is affecting his play, but he does need to make those throws. This team has to address the line and change philosphy on offense. Shula's time is up here.
