Ok. I see you are confused, so I'm going to break things down Barney style for you. I am hoping for a 14-2 record. Whether or not that actually happens is impossible to predict accurately at this point (and most probably highly unlikely). So my statement pretty much tacitly admits that a 14-2 record might be a pipe dream, but I at least hope we make the playoffs (because that would be good and I don't want to be out $50).
But congrats on your snarkiness/sarcasm/whatever.
Nah, wasn't trying to be a dick, it was actually funny to me to see that bold prediction, maybe the boldest in the entire thread, next to a "hope we make the playoffs".
Hey if you think we can win 14 out of 16 games, own that poo and guarantee the playoffs while you're at it. You've got nothing to lose. Besides fiddy bucks lol.
To be clear, Godfrey supporters might want to think twice before seeing this as a good thing for him.
Implicit in the move to corner was an acknowledgement that he wasn't doing that great at safety (and quite possibly wouldn't make the squad there). The idea of the position switch was to give him a way to succeed at his new spot where he hadn't succeeded at the old one.
Moving him back now carries with it the implication of "well, that didn't work so well".
Granted, it could be primarily because of injuries, but giving up on an 'experiment' this quickly usually isn't a positive sign.
Forget Godfrey supporters...what this tells every Panther fan is that we're clearly f*cked at the safety position.
Great thread, looks like the keg has about dried up though. Mark, were you really soliciting pie shamelessly to share lola's Twitter handle? Classic. Reminds me of the scene in 16 candles when the dorks charge kids a dollar to see a pair of panties in the bathroom. You probably have no idea what I'm talking about.
