The best takeaway is Seattle looks really beatable. They aren't as scary good as they were last year, at least from what I see now. Plus I believe they're gonna burn a fragile Harvin out if they keep using him everywhere.

They sure look fine to me. Can't say that I'd be confident playing them right now, especially in Seattle.

As long as Shula is here, I'm not sure it's possible to gain a real sense of how well Cam has progressed or not. It is very encouraging that he stepped up when we needed him last year in crunch time though.

So you mean pass to a guy that dropped everything that came his way? He's not the scat back he was drafted to be because he has stone hands. No thanks.

I just meant he needs to be used in a different way to be part of this team. Even then I don't like his outlook

In Topic: More Darrin Reaves?

Worked Friday so just catching game now and I must say Reaves is 10x the NFL RB than Barner. Was hoping it was an overreaction on Barner but after watching I concur with the criticisms.

Barner has yet to gain the strength he needs to break the first wave of tacklers, which goes back to his days at Oregon. The thing is, his greatest strength - speed, agility - isn't as great as it should to be successful in the NFL. Unless Shula realizes that he needs to be used as more of a receiver, then his time is coming to a close.

Reaves on the other hand showed some great toughness and enough athleticism to warrant and NFL roster spot. I saw a player who could, at the least, provide some solid consistency whenever he has a chance.

Yes it's early, but I think we've seen what we're going to get with Barner and the way I look at it, if we had to rely on either one of these guys, then I would take Reaves every time.
