#2614858 Your team MVP?

Posted by PantherFanOne on 14 January 2014 - 10:15 AM

(" Outside of Cam/Kuechly, who was your MVP? ")

DE Greg Hardy gets my vote. Greg was the main reason we won several games and would not have made the playoffs witthout him.

Me too, but you better soak in the Panthers gold while you can because it's about to get real quiet. Stuff like "I saw Byron Bell at target" will become big news.

Or some juicy good news like, "I just saw Bryon Bell buy a one way plane ticket out of town". :)

#2596810 Lol Ric Flair back on Raw

Posted by PantherFanOne on 08 January 2014 - 07:09 PM

If it's legal I would love to see the Panthers put a couple of Flairs old fllm clips cheering for us,on the Jumbo screen during warm ups and a few minutes before the game starts.

That would get the Forty Niner players wondering what happened to their so called motivator Just a small way of getting in their heads, the same way they wanted Flairs speech to them have an adverse effect on  us. Can you say payback time?.

#2595933 Draft Kelvin Benjamin

Posted by PantherFanOne on 08 January 2014 - 12:06 PM

Benjamin has the speed to stretch a defense vertically as he torched Florida and cornerback Loucheiz Purifoy to the tune of 212 yards on nine catches and three scores.

Benjamin was on fire late in the season as he dominated the competition. Benjamin is a mismatch nightmare with a ton of upside. He has to work on his hands as he drops too many passes.

Yes! MCNUTT!!!!!!!!

Recent News
Brandon LaFell did not catch a pass in Sunday's Week 17 win at Atlanta.
It's a new low for LaFell. The Panthers desperately needed him to step up with Steve Smith (knee) out, and the fourth-year vet responded by dropping a big third-down pass early on and failing to create separation against a weak secondary.
Consistently failing to capitalize on opportunities, LaFell finishes with 49 catches for 627 yards and five touchdowns. The Panthers would do good to get Ted Ginn more involved.

It would be nice to have "Double Trouble" being the force Sunday against the Forty Niners like they were in days of old.

What kind of clown hangs out on an opposing teams forum to talk trash. Wow, get a life and/or a job.

Why am I thinking that 48ochoshogun isn't old enough to get a job?

#2590079 I could Hear Panther Players going WHAT DID HE SAY ?

( " We Owe Them for the Last Time Coming Into Our House" )

Good material to post not that the Panthers need any extra motivation.

#2590028 NOW CONFIRMED? Harbaugh Inviting Ric Flair For Speech Was Shot Across The Bo...

Posted by PantherFanOne on 05 January 2014 - 09:38 PM

In the video Flair looked  exactly  like what he is,an old washed up drug user. Remember ,he use to appear own the Panthers Jumbo screen during home  games but it was discontinued after Flair had numerous personal problems and projected a bad image.

#2582386 Charlotte weather for 1/12 is looking interesting

Posted by PantherFanOne on 03 January 2014 - 12:29 PM

Cam is undefeated since high school when it's rained at all during a game.

The chance of rain and Cam's record playing in  it sounds good. All season it seems as if the stars have been  lined up to favor the Panthers.

Just think of all the positive things that have happened to this team at just the right moment, not saying talent didn't play a big part in it. Here's hoping that trend continues and we wind up winning the Super Bowl.

#2578176 Happy New Year, dear Huddle

Happy New Year to all my fellow Panthers fans, their families and loved ones. 2013 NFC South Champion Carolina Panthers, first round bye and playoff bound. Life is good. :)

#2578086 McDermott to interview for Redskins HC this weekend...

Posted by PantherFanOne on 31 December 2013 - 04:31 PM

My objective reaction - He would be stupid to even consider that job. Skins are a disaster. Bob the 3rd is developing a reputation as a coach killer. So many defensive starters will be free agents when he takes over. He won't have any 1st round pick(Rams say thank you), so you'll need about 3 years to put together a decent defense. And of course you have to deal with Snyder who has gotten rid of so many coaches in his very short time as owner. May be Sean just wants to increase his stock just by interviewing. That's the only scenario I would understand him interviewing.

My subjective reaction is below

Considering that Dan Snyder is the owner of this distressed franchise that is a long way from being a competive team the coach who takes this position is instantly set for for failure.

If McMermott 's (like most NFL coaches) dream/goal is to be an NFL HC,i would rather see him get the Lions position, if it is offered to him. That would be a team a decent coach could turn around with a whole lot less stress and effort.

#2567238 .Lafell 1.Ginn 2, and Hixon 3 with Smith out?

Posted by PantherFanOne on 27 December 2013 - 04:21 PM

I thought this was already decided? Ginn and Hixon will split Smittys role while Lafell will be spelled by Mcnutt.

Wouldn't it really be fantastic if McNutt came in and had a super performance.

#2565598 So how much of a discount will the Kracken give us?

Posted by PantherFanOne on 25 December 2013 - 08:24 PM

I believe  if the team lets Hardy try the open market,he doesn't cash in like Charles Johnson did in 2011. With no one willing to pay him the salary he's demanding, Greg then settles for a reasonable deal that locks him up in Carolina for a long time.

The market is just not there anymore, and Hardy seems to genuinely love this team. He would likely take slightly less for a longer contract. My guess is the $7-8 million range. This is all pure speculation but that's the logical way I see it working out.

#2565276 Adam Schein Still A Schmuck; Throws Cam Shade/Backhand Compliment

Schein is a Jets fan for what it's worth

A Jets fan? Well, that explains a lot of  his offbase attitude in his writing.
