#3263060 Everybody hates Jay

Posted by PantherFanOne on Yesterday, 06:06 PM

If you take his first name, convert it to a French homonym "J' ai" and put it in front of his last name, a form of the English word, "Cutlery."  Now take the actual French version of his last name "coutelerie" and put it in front of the French homonym, "J'ai Coutelerie."  Translate back to English and you get,
"I have knives."

See? It was right there in front of us all along.

(Not intended to make much sense)

On a side note,Yaj Reltuc is his named spelled backwards. LOL :)

#3263047 only 10-15 consensus first-round talents in the 2015 class?

Posted by PantherFanOne on Yesterday, 06:00 PM

This is why i am glad we have GM Dave Gettleman because one of his strong suits is picking talent in lower rounds, or even undrafted players that slip through the cracks.

#3259244 The OTs you would take at 25 if available

Posted by PantherFanOne on 01 March 2015 - 11:38 PM

For some reason,i feel we will jump all over Ereck Flowers,if he's available when we pick at # 25.

#3258081 Darnell Dockett to be cut by Cardinals

Posted by PantherFanOne on 28 February 2015 - 05:15 PM

Darnell Dockett will be 34 years old in May,plus he's coming of an injury year,so he would probably want more money than he would be worth.

#3254723 Well We Won't Be Getting Mitchell Back...

I was actually surprised when the Steelers signed him to that 5 year $25 million contract.

#3254464 Michael Oher Visits Panthers

Posted by PantherFanOne on 25 February 2015 - 06:30 PM

Matsko was Oher's first position coach as a pro.

Then i suppose we'll have to trust Matsko's judgement about Michael Oher. Could be he's had a couple of off years and at age 28, ready to bounce back.

DeAngelo Williams why didn't you just go out with style and class, like Byron Bell ????

#3253503 Fan Poll - Did Deanglo's handling of his release tarnish his image?

Posted by PantherFanOne on 24 February 2015 - 09:51 PM

D. Williams is a man, and is entitled to his thoughts and feelings, just is any person is.

I tend not listen to what players say after they've been cut.

I don't think any words can tarnish the fact that he was a pro's pro, and what he has accomplished as a Panther.

Like i said in anothee thread, i don't give a damn what he has to say about the Panthers at this point.

I care about what he says because his allegations not only attempt to make the Panthers organization look bad but they can have an adverse effect when we try to sign free agents.

#3253320 Overthecap outlook

Posted by PantherFanOne on 24 February 2015 - 06:42 PM

The people over at overthecap.com have been doing some write-ups on every team's financial outlook for next season.  Thought some might find it interesting.

Thanks AU-panther,that oTc outlook, was one of the most informative i've see pertaining to the Panthers salary cap situation.

#3253259 Thanks Deangelo and WBTV! Panthers now public enemy number one.

Posted by PantherFanOne on 24 February 2015 - 06:04 PM

It has been a PR and team chemistry disaster since Gettleman was hired.

How dare Dave Gettleman  try to run the Carolina Panthers like the business it is, instead of a social club, servering crumpets and tea. What nerve!!!!. :)

#3251965 D Will says Panthers didn't reach out to him when his mother died

Posted by PantherFanOne on 23 February 2015 - 10:17 PM

I don't know about the rest of this board, but I'll remember 2-23-15 as the day Thomas Davis received a key to the city of Charlotte, am I right??!

This is a day i will remember. I can't think of a single Carolina Panthers player that deserved the tke bto the city more than Thomas Davis. What a great football player and even a greater person. Total class.

#3251960 D Will says Panthers didn't reach out to him when his mother died

Posted by PantherFanOne on 23 February 2015 - 10:13 PM

He's not a Panther any longer so I don't care. He seemed like a good dude, but this makes him look like a little spoiled brat. Even if true, it's berween D and the Panthers and he should keep it that way. Dude was paid mega millions that he didn't deserve, he should appreciate that and STFU.

ickmule ,you summed it up exactly the same way i feel.

#3251111 DeAngelo released...

Posted by PantherFanOne on 23 February 2015 - 04:16 PM

Salute goes out to DeAngelo Wiliams for taking the release like the class act he's always been. I will miss the dude but this is just the business side of the NFL.

#3248640 Trade up for White!

Posted by PantherFanOne on 21 February 2015 - 03:18 PM

40yd dash is a smokescreen. its all technique and training

I have  never understood why they didn't make them do their runs and workouts with a full uniform, just like they would have to do in a regular game. These combine events are more like a track and field  event, instead of a football.performance evaluation.

#3248635 My "seats" for the game

Posted by PantherFanOne on 21 February 2015 - 03:11 PM

I'll have all the details and pricing done by Monday. I am going to post the details on the Huddle by Wednesday. I'm launching a new RR site on 3/5 and will be releasing the details to the world then. So...I'm going to give Huddlers the first crack at reserving a spot.

I also have 100 lower level tickets behind the Panthers' bench and I can add a second cabana if needed.

Save me a place in the cabana. LOL :)
