I never got stung.

I worked the entire weekend. DVRed the game. Skipped through the first quarter and was like "nope".

I may have thrown the TV outside if I dedicated a lot of time to the game today.

Plenty of Lulz watching the Seahawks fans cry in utter shock.

In all seriousness....are we sure Kawann wasn't the one concussed?

lol...well, that certainly is a flattering picture of our best DT right now.

Has "hurrrr" written all over it.

I'm definitely a skeptic. I also don't trust people enough to really believe their stories. It just so happens that all my friends and family members who claim to have had some paranormal experience  are the ones who are quite emotional and are often irrational in their thinking or already superstitious like your friend.

I have 5 friends in mind that if they came to me and said they experienced something inexplainable and thought paranormal activity was an option first I'd be shocked but I would actually give their account a little more credence.

yep, I hear ya. I think his religious upbringing definitely made him sensitive to things he can't explain and the fact that he was young at the time could have played a role as well. All that can lead to exaggeration.

However, he's less religious now and maintains a consistent story. The fact that I can trust him more than anyone else, I'm more apt to believe it. But this all happened before we became friends and I've never been inside that house before. If I don't see it or experience it personally, there's no way I can claim it as fact.

But I thought it was a cool story from someone I trust immensely since I got nothing on my end.

People should be free to spew copious amounts of mouth shart onto a message board.

It's 'merica, dammit.

#3016460 Ties are unsettling, but our offense was great and it's starts upfront

Posted by Salvo on 12 October 2014 - 04:52 PM

That was on Mythbusters.  Turns out you can polish a turd.  It will even have very impressive luster.

I guess it depends on the type of turd.

Can't polish the messy shart that the OL has been so far this season.

I agree pass blocking was decent.  Blitz pickup has improved but still isn't good.

Run blocking is terrible.

Can't polish a turd.

All things considered, they played pretty well. Especially against a defense supposedly better than the Steelers and Ravens. And on the road...

#3015983 Poll

Because a tie is a good result?

Better than losing. No guarantees in football...as seen by that last kick.

I would have gone for it, though, because the defense couldn't stop a HS JV team. You play your hot hand, which...ironically, was our offense.

We just got lucky and I'm fine with that.
