In Topic: Byron Bell is Gone

Gotta give Byron Bell credit here, he never seemed lazy or lacking in work ethic, he came as a long shot UDFA and took every advice he could get from the experienced staff. He took over for Otah when he went down, he got thrown into a tough LT position and didn't cut it. I think he will have no trouble getting a shot elsewhere and the training staff will probably recomend him to their colleagues

I'm liking the meassurables on Tre McBride out of W&M, 6ft0/210 with Return Experience, is as fast on the 10 yarder as Nelson.. wouldn't mind him in the 5th round

Throwing out something crazy here.. some generous huddler recently uploaded that wonderful Giants game from the 05/06 playoffs, at that point Travelle Wharton was playing LT for us while an, at that point 3 year vet Jordan Gross was manning the Right Side of the line, now Wharton obviously was better than Bell, but how about Amini? I mean he must have lost his Guard spot at this point to Norwell or Trai depending on the shuffle, could his salvation lie as a one year stop-gap LT while we draft and groom a replacement? He did play the position in College and Gettleman always says the Answer might be on the roster

I remember us drafting Ryne Robinson when i really wanted us to draft David Clowney, when we finally got Clowney he had flunked out of the Jets and Robinson was in the USFL.. memories like that scare me when thinking that we are looking for a speedy reciever in this draft

Obvious Fake Smile - Eats unhealthy Grilled Cheese (Not dedicated to the grind of the offseason) - Studies Freud instead of the Playbook

Clearly not Franchise QB material
