Smith had already caught the ball and then ran passed DeCoud. Doesn't matter if it was tipped or not. Decoud is a safety. Ever heard of that position before? They're not supposed to let anyone by them. They are the last line of defense. Learn how to football before trash talking and looking like an idiot.

You are pathetic.

The defense was making a a play on the receiver that was thrown to. A fluke play like that is a fluke...plain and simple.

Go back to playing madden.

#2980068 G.Williams back on IR

But I thought Ron and Dollar Tree Dave said he was going to be a difference maker this year?

Yes, because they can see the future abd should have known he was going to get hurt.

#2978680 Why Can't Brandon Williams be our Larry Donnell?

Posted by MadHatter on 26 September 2014 - 06:29 AM

I have a question. Can he block well enough, pick up coverages, and is he versatile enough to play some of Tolberts role as lead blocker, pass blocker, and pass catcher out of the back field?

Does not matter.....I put him in on my Madden team and he was fuging awesome.  Therefore , it is Shula's fault.

#2977998 can anyone here make sense of this graph

social status and opportunity is also largely inherited, and that matters just as much as the wealth

Very valid point.

Who you know does go a LONG way in opening doors for a person.

Easy to get that confused lmao

Especially when everything about his on line persona is just one lie after the next.  Eventually he can't even keep up with them.

Unless it gets below 54-53 degrees, I'm still wearing shorts.

I will still wear shorts when it is in the low 40's

#2975345 You find out who the true Panthers fans are

Smith is a punk ass bitch....always was one and always will be one. We overlooked it as fans because he was our punk ass bitch.

#2975041 How long is the Huddle gonna defend Shula?

Posted by MadHatter on 23 September 2014 - 02:03 PM

Holding the ball too long is an issue all young QBs go through. And they do usually get better as they gain experience. Even the ones that are greats now dealt with it early in their careers

I agree that Cam will get better at this as time goes on, but he is doing fine as a passer. He is a more dynamic as a playmaker when he is healthy and can scramble but Cam has played well enough this season to win with. We just have to execute better and not give up 30 points and 450 yards on defense. And 90% of the time our defense won't play like that

I agree with you 100%....which is why I said that Cam will continue to develop in this area.  EVERY young QB goes through a learning curve.

OL was atrocious.....we could not run the ball...had inopportune penalties....muffed a punt for a TD....got gashed numerous times on defense.  These were all the reasons that we lost that game....and NO we would not have won the game with Anderson under center (and we both will agree on that).

#2974702 the injury bug

Posted by MadHatter on 23 September 2014 - 10:17 AM

Half the injury bug on this team is suspension. With JRs twisted warped way of running a NFL franchise one has to wonder if he cares at all about winning a SB.

Still amazed that people think that the Panthers really had an option with Hardy.  Goodell and the NFL forced their hand.

You put hot sauce on dog poo and it's still dog poo. Put Steve Smith in a Ravens jersey he's still the best Panther of all time. :S

You can try and sugar coat your poo posts all you want....they are still poo posts.

Smith is the enemy now....get over it.

#2974499 How long is the Huddle gonna defend Shula?

Posted by MadHatter on 23 September 2014 - 07:41 AM

Or is it a coincidence Anderson has only seen time against possibly the worst team in the NFL and garbage time on Sunday (against a team that had backups all over the field at the end)

Anderson is a vet. He gets the ball out much quicker than Cam because his is not a mobile QB. Cam holds the ball much longer. That is a fact.

Cam should develop in the area every year.

Biggest issue with the offense is our inability to effectively run the ball. It is as simple as that.

#2974430 How long is the Huddle gonna defend Shula?

Posted by MadHatter on 23 September 2014 - 06:27 AM

The Cam fanboys blame Shula 100% because that allows then to deflect all blame from Cam.

This was an equal opportunity sickest of a game. Everyone did their part.

Game plan was not strong.

Cam did not execute.

OL sucked

Defense gave up big plays

Penalties on both sides of the ball

Muffed punt for a TD

Bottom line was that everyone did their part at stinking up a prime time game
