#2961214 ESPN is totally disrespecting our organization

Posted by cbully on 17 September 2014 - 04:20 PM

This will either tear our team apart or will make them stronger beyond belief.

certainly make us stronger however I will add I think RR is 100% for this organization from the phone lines to the locker room. Heck of a coach!

I read he just whooped the kid with a switch, nothing none of us hasn't had happen to us before as children

media is ridiculous... nevertheless deactivation is overboard in this situation imo. I guess if he wasn't they'd want him released. I'm starting to think all this cut/deactivation is about fantasy point. smh

i always crack up when fundamentalists tell you you're being arrogant while doing so on the pretenses that you're going to burn forever in hell where there are no firetrucks if you don't believe exactly what they believe which is THE TRUTH

its either one believes or he doesn't. it's no ones job to cast anyone into hell as that power belongs to a higher being. ones job is to live accordingly and share what/whom has already made you free from hell as everyone has long earned their position there. none can live perfectly as it is not possible and written. those that totally reject it  are typically "spiritually lazy" and have created there own justification and settle as nonbelievers. THE TRUTH isn't making a rule book to live by but coming to the understanding that you and all here have done wrong and will continue to do so, but one came and died for your freedom. The Holy Spirit confirms this, not going to church or listening to preachers. peace

Do you eat pork? Let Wiccans live?

If so, you're not living by your own rules.

Unquestionably a foolish statement from you yet again.... I'm ushered into the family of Christ via Gentile as you should be. Do you even know what that is? Clearly not as you have made it perfectly clear you know not what you're speaking on. I'm not going to turn this into a battle of words as your quarrelsome ways desire but instead I will use you as a stepping stone to enlighten the other lost people in agreement with you that clearly think as you do.

ACTS 10:9 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven openedand something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”

14 “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”

15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”

16 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.

17 While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Corneliusfound out where Simon’s house was and stopped at the gate. 18 They called out, asking if Simon who was known as Peter was staying there.

19 While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Simon, three[a]men are looking for you. 20 So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them.”.......

27 While talking with him, Peter went inside and found a large gathering of people. 28 He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.29 So when I was sent for, I came without raising any objection. May I ask why you sent for me?”

30 Cornelius answered: “Three days ago I was in my house praying at this hour, at three in the afternoon. Suddenly a man in shining clothes stood before me 31 and said, ‘Cornelius, God has heard your prayer and remembered your gifts to the poor. 32 Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. He is a guest in the home of Simon the tanner, who lives by the sea.’ 33 So I sent for you immediately, and it was good of you to come. Now we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to tell us.”

34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. 37 You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached— 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

I have no problem with you, just the fact that your lack of desire for truth has made you like the ones of this world. You raise assumptions of me but indeed you are in question, I'm secure in who I am, who I was, and what I'm to do without the influences of the world. Don't speak scripture if you don't know! And certainly be silent if you yourself don't believe it! Proverbs would do you much good. Open your eyes bro and study! BTW my comment is not in anger towards you, nor is it a attempt to persuade you into Christianity. peace and pray Brethren.

surprised nobody brought this up yet...

Proverbs 13:24
Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children. Those who love their children care enough to discipline them.

absolute truth... and the finish product of those that don't exercise this is

2 Timothy 3:1-5New International Version (NIV)

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

sounds like now right? because it is! I have dropped a serious jewel here but most will not care. smh

I have two daughters 5yo & 5.5 months old... I don't like spanking but if it necessary to break her (5yo) it must be done. I can count on one hand how many times I have had to spank/pop my child and she is raise in a good household. My house is is faith based and certainly Christian however I do believe in discipline. funny thing is most issues my child has gotten in trouble over was picked up from outside influences via school, whom parents did not care enough to teach the right things. Public school is a no go! some won't like this comment but I'm certainly keepin' it real bro! I can't imagine raising boys in this day and age... girls are just mouthy! smh... I need a vacation! smh
