#3257726 Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks

Posted by grateflday on 28 February 2015 - 12:07 PM

If Hardy is not brought back for any other reason than the impact his contract would have on building the overall roster then it's b.s.  That is the only reason not to.  All the others, at this stage, is garbage.

#3241884 Ticket prices rise 2nd year in row

Posted by grateflday on 14 February 2015 - 09:44 AM

I'm a Panthers fan so I could not care less. I'll pay what I've got to pay to see my team play.

Don't take my original comment the wrong way.  I agree with ..  "I'll pay what I've got to..."   I feel the same way, I paid the money for PSL's and have been going to every home game at the stadium for a long time.  I  just rather always keep more $$ in my pocket so am never "ok" or "happy" with an increase.  I know prices generally go up on everything, but why show others we are ok with it.... It just encourages more of it.

#3241538 Has Voth changed his opinion of Hardy's future?

Posted by grateflday on 13 February 2015 - 09:38 PM

The ONLY reason the Panthers should not bring Hardy back is if they can't get him to sign a contract that makes sense for the plans of building the roster.  Any other reason to not sign him, and if they did not because of them, would be b.s.

#3232943 Where are everyones PSL's located?

And, in 6 years I'll have a designated driver to get me to and from the game. Fugging dad life bro's!

This past season was the first year I had one of those :-)   ...  it is nice.  Even when we go out to eat, or somewhere it comes in handy.

#3198201 hell why not. stirring the hardy pot - wants back in carolina...will play for...

#Panthers Josh Norman said Hardy said he would play for free. Wants to be at Carolina.

If this is true, the Panthers would be foolish not to do it....... and I would be angry as h*ll at the owner if he did not allow the franchise to do it.

While the defense refused to let up....

One of your best pics ever Zod.... great job.   The intensity in Luke's eyes is fierce.   You caught him on camera at the perfect moment.

#3116274 Bill Voth breaks down Cam Newton's season

Posted by grateflday on 02 December 2014 - 08:07 PM

Can not disagree with this article at all.  We all saw it ourselves.  Cam was looking great in the pocket, then got healthy and our brilliant coaching staff went right back to the pistol offense as a base formation and tossed out the first four games as if they did not exist.

3rd and 16...RB screen pass...lol. Hell my grandma saw that coming and she's dead!

Don't forget to add....... AND down by three scores with less than ten minutes left in the game.   :hocky:

#3098492 Greg Olsen on first take tomorrow

Posted by grateflday on 20 November 2014 - 11:48 AM

Didn't see the segment.

However, Cam and Olsen may be Bros, the way the way Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall are. And I'm sure they both know, Ron Rivera's an idiot, and a detriment to their careers as well!!

You have to wonder how many others feel the same was as Avant and would like to see a coaching change.  Olsen is a class act but has to extremely frustrated.  I jumped completely off the Rivera/Shula train in the Saints game when in the entire first half Olsen was in the backfield blocking.  I get the O-Line is horrible, but you use one of your other TE's to block and let Olsen run a route.  But nope,,, every down Olsen was blocking.  They took one of our best weapons out of the play ever time.  All that does is help the opposing defense.

#3094865 My Biggest Fear with Cam Long-Term

Posted by grateflday on 18 November 2014 - 10:56 AM

My biggest fear with Cam is we will never have a pro set offense....

The Panthers did the first four games, etc this season and Cam looked pretty good staying in and throwing from the pocket.  Then he got "healthy" , ran for 100 yards against the Bengals and it was back to this pistol formation and running game from the shotgun as the base offense.

Cam would be fine in a pro style offense if the Panthers had a halfway decent O-Line, RB's, more speed at the WR position, and better coaching staff.

#3091676 Does Rivera have a chance at staying another year?

Posted by grateflday on 16 November 2014 - 05:52 PM

If history repeats itself,  Rivera will be retained because JR won't want to pay him for not being here and they will replace the OC in an attempt to do something.  Then when that fails Rivera will be fired.  This is going to run the same course as the John Fox era.

Rivera had no real comment on why Olsen is not utilized more.

Olsen was utilize a lot in the first half..... AS A BLOCKER!!    Every time Cam was in shotgun Olsen was back there in one of the RB positions blocking.  For the life of me I do not understand why they couldn't put one of their other TE's there to do that and let Olsen run a route.

Being a fan of this Panther organization is extremely frustrating.

#3049506 Cam's first-down celebrations really bother a lot of people. Why?

Posted by grateflday on 27 October 2014 - 05:03 PM

But if I had to guess, celebrate a score. Not a first down. People might see it as a dumb thing to celebrate over.

I am along the lines of this.

Posted by grateflday on 14 October 2014 - 01:43 PM

Fines wont work.... lose of games will.  Otherwise players wont care, to them it will just be the cost of doing business.  They will trade a pittance of their millions to take a star player out any day of the week.    All the people who are not bothered by this, wonder how they will feel when its one of their star players are out due to something like this.  The Panthers got lucky this time, but that does not mean Burfit then gets a pass.
