#3141623 If Atlanta AND Cleveland win this weekend....

Posted by Toundra on Today, 10:52 AM

I will be happy anyway because we have 2 new unexpected and awesome players.

1 is a guard and the second is an OT, so the next season should much much much better and the draft much much much easier.

I am always surprised by the high number of relious references in this sport and in your country in general.

If i am not a believer myself, i can respect respectfull religious peoples, i have my own beliefs regarding a something.

Anyway this is not the right place to argue about that since noone know the answer.. even me. ;)

But this is clearly not a good idea to try to convince believers that god does not exist. You may shatter dreams, wishes, hopes about lost loved ones..

Live your lives respect others as much as possible (not always easy on this forum!!!) and everything will be a litle more simple for everyone.

And don't make fun out of my English, after more than a sentence my English is loosing it's structural integrity..

#3113097 So who's actaully to blame here?!

You should ask who don't deserve a blame, the list will be shorter.

Haven't seen the movie yet and haven't read the thread because I don't want to be too spoiled, but on the concepts of time travel and some sort of cyclical timeline for reality...

If you believe it is possible to travel into the future... Wouldn't that future be predetermined and already in existence? Would it be predetermined by the events taking place at the exact moment you left from, or would it not matter and the end result be the same? If the future IS predetermined, that would have some pretty big implications.

Me personally, I kinda believe it would be possible to travel back in time but not forward. I believe this because the past has already happened and past events have shaped our present. Another way to think about it is looking up at the night sky. Some of the stars we see aren't even there anymore, so you're looking back in time.

If time does somehow fold onto itself, then that would mean that the universe is finite and has a limited space for expansion. Things could exist in parallel universes and the potential could exist for intersecting universes. Time could be cyclical and everything and everyone is just a part of a huge recycling of energy and matter.

I enjoy thinking about stuff like this, and it really makes you realize how insignificant we really are.

Don't start me on time and time travels!!!!

If you want to travel in the past the particules forming our universe must be splited all along the time line,

like a ray in the time dimension, so a neutron, a proton or any particule is a particule in the present.

Now extend the time line to 10 sec in the past and your neutrons, protons are becoming strings.

The futur is made of probabilities so i agree end of the story.

I have been warned on a French forum about sciences, they told me even if you are right, theories like this are forbidden on the forums.. it was about electrons in quantum physics an electron is not a particule but a wave.

I told them this is maybe a bad understanding and this is because the futur is made of probaility and probabilites are looking like a wave because your electron can be anywere the instant after

I am not welcome anymore on their forums, scientists are boring peoples :-)

Like you i am thinking alot about things like this and i have conclusions about many things, even the "after life" ^^

About the film it's planed for sunday, obviously the film is respecting "Enstein's theory of general relativity" so the ending is obvious for someone traveling at light speed. ;)
