Fansided.com: Team targeting Thaddeus Young

29 July 2014 - 10:04 PM

I put the source here, because I suggest that you take it's word with a grain of salt. Fansided.com does post a ton of crap but they seem to think that the Hornets are looking to trade for Thaddeus Young. Not sure what I think of the potential trade but isn't as crazy as many that I've read about.

I know our backfield has issues but bringing him back if just one less mess to fix IMO.

Panthers postgame show?

30 November 2013 - 10:20 AM

I currently live in Richmond, VA and any of the local sports coverage we get is Redskins/Ravens.

I really like their postgame shows with player interviews, recaps... just 100% local team coverage.

I was reading about "Panthers Huddle" which oddly enough airs in Virginia on WCNC-TV in Lynchburg and WVEC in Tidewater, but nowhere near Richmond. The post game show, from what I can read only airs on WCNC-TV in Charlotte.

Does anybody know of ways to see this coverage... online or elsewhere? Or through DirecTV outside of Charlotte? I am at a friend's house with DirecTV this weekend and see "49ers pregame show" and "Patriots pregame show" in the guide. Does anybody know if Panthers' shows like this are available with DirecTV in any market? Curious.

I'm thinking about getting directTV when I move to my new place. Wasn't sure if this was a separate package.

Jag fans to owner: Sign The Golden Calf of Bristol and Sell Out Games

19 November 2013 - 11:12 AM

So, apparently a guy named Dewey has put an ad out addressed to the owner of the Jaguars, telling him that if he signs The Golden Calf of Bristol... they will sell out the stadium.

http://espn.go.com/n...ow-newspaper-ad

I agree with Stephen A. Smith. Sure, maybe one sellout. Maybe two. Eventually the novelty wears out.

I also don't get The Golden Calf of Bristol. I mean, if he's serious about this NFL QB thing, then go to the CFL. It worked for Warren Moon, Jeff Garia, Joe Theisman, and Doug Flutie. Show people you can play and the NFL will pay attention. I just don't see how this guy can get cut in camp and sit at home... expecting phone calls. He has proven nothing to anybody. He had one nice run years ago. Go to the CFL and prove yourself.

I think his ego is too strong to make him a great QB, NFL or elsewhere.
