In Topic: Dave Newton-Outburst aside...Norman having a great camp

to me it seemed like Norman's biggest problem his rookie year was consistently giving a 10 yard cushion, particularly in late game situations in which WR would run slants and move the chains.

that was certainly on coaching

Yea, but you can't begin to compare that defensive line to this one

Norman has enough physical ability to play with most WRs. His real weakness is the burners

In Topic: Chances Bersin could be our number 2 at WR

This thread has probably been posted on other NFC South boards by now. It's just that sad.

Not only does it speak to the state of our receivers but it also says a lot about our fan's ability to be rational. Stop using ridiculous anecdotal evidence that good players have come from nowhere. Look at the statistical odds. "OMG Gettleman found Cruz ERGO BERSIN = CRUZ.

It's the same every year.

"____Insert unproven WR__ has all the physical tools needed and I know it. All he needs is a chance because I said so"

Meanwhile Byron Bell has taken his lumps, actually played in an NFL game and has earned the LT position by playing well all camp and against very good starting defensive lines. Most people are worried about Bell being our LT but we have people hoping Bersin becomes our #2?

What the actual fug.

Bersin runs better routes, has better hands, doesn't drop the ball every other play.. Lafell completly lacks consistency. Bersin is more dependable..

Now please explain to me why Lafell was better for the Panthers. Lafell has had opportunity after opportunity, Bersin came in as a scrub, and showed out to earn the "#4" spot. No reason we can't use him as a #2. What does a #2 do that Bersin can't do? If you can't answer that question..

Exaggerations don't help make arguments more valid. You can't call a practice squad player more dependable than a three year starter. You're argument is null and void.

Bersin hasn't proven anything. He wasn't even talked about in camp for the last two weeks. Just stop.

Lafell is better due to experience but it's far from considerably. He is the wr version of Tony Romo, all his drops and bad plays seem to come at the worst possible time

Btw, this isn't an endorsement for bering to be the #2 wr

Bersin has yet to make an NFL active roster and reports were silent about him for the last two weeks. Suddenly we have a thread about him being a #2? LOLZ

You're trying to claim the difference between practice squad and being a #2 receiver isn't a considerable difference.

Explain how

... explain how he isn't better...
