Also why is that SuperJ thread locked? It looked like fun.

I'm sure there'll be several ProBowl LTs on the wire in the coming weeks. I wouldn't worry.

Point taken. Have a little respect towards my age? It's obvious Im not 10. But if Im 10, I guess being 10 and handsome is better than being 40 and lonely. I mean have you looked in a mirror recently, or socially interacted with someone IN PERSON?

Lmao, bragging about your looks on the internet/in general is not a good look. Quite Big A-like, in fact.

#2896567 Anyone watching Falcons looking tough?

The worst part is the 1st round pick Mathews that was a "day one NFL starter" and had "champion bloodline" hasn't been all that either. The Falcons fans are saying it because he was going against Wake the first game and Watt the second game. But now if they move him over to LT, he will have a lot of top Def talent to deal with this season, not good for Falcons.

Your friends at PFF disagree; Matthews had a positive rating against Houston, bouncing back from a good pass-protection yet penalty-laden (on run plays) outing against the dolphins.

And I guess the "it's only preseason" and "it's his 2nd game, lol" excuses are only acceptable when applied to Cooks, so I'll leave them off.

Panther fans on the internet are homers

Better invent a new word for this concept because it's unique to them.

God forbid people try to have a little fun on the internet when discussing an entertainment product.

Huddle logic hardens back to afmb nothing new to see here

The "Carologic" thread is an AFMB classic. A well known panthers fan posted a picture of Kris Jenkins in practice, bragging about his quickness off the snap and that rumors of his decline were incorrect. Problem was, KJ was clearly offside in said photo, "Carologic" was coined, and people started photoshopping him outrunning cheetahs, trains, drag racers, etc.

I didn't think JB was that outta line. I have seen worse.

He's gone off the deep end recently, bordering on outright malice.

1) The whole "I'm not fat; my calf shots prove it!" odyssey was pretty funny. The mirror selfie was icing on the cake.

2) The "fiancé" he "had" back in 2012

3) The countless shoe threads and the ones where he compared his house, artwork, "entry system," etc. to Phil's.

4) His earnest conversations with that "24/7" guy, who was clearly a satirical account

5) Bragging that he spends 50k a year eating out (and not foreseeing the jokes that came from that bit of braggadocio).

6) Any of the thousands of times he's laughed at people for playing 'google detective,' stalking, spending too much time/thought on this forum, etc.

7) Celebrity encounter threads, always missing him in the pic

8) Bashing Matt Ryan's wife

#5 is my favorite

Edit: accidentally double posted, changing old one.

#2872127 Future of Defense in NFL (Wall Street Journal Article)

Posted by Borat on 31 July 2014 - 05:13 PM

Sounds like an article written by someone with little knowledge of NFL history.

The concept he's describing is hardly new. The Redskins operated that way pretty much across the board for a decade or more between the 80s and 90s. The Giants employed similar ideas when they went "all end" across their DL.

I wonder if the author has heard of this crazy new thing called the West Coast Offense.

He's probably already submitted a piece about "this newfangled forward pass thing" to his editor.

Your playpen?

The Matt Ryan/Cam Newton thread is the first actual football smack we've had in months; this place is basically the Alejandro Lastra show. Yeah he gets abused, but he seems to enjoy it, so playpen fits.
