"We'd be interested. He's an intriguing player and we'll take a look at him,'' Rivera told USA TODAY Sports from the West Coast. "I just got word and this is surprising to hear. He's an explosive player who has great vertical speed and is strong going to the ball."

I want Peyton to win. I appreciate what the Seahawks did, but Cam is the best young QB and I want him to be the first to get a ring.

Replay review discerned the toe drag. Unfortunately for Carolina, there was no replay review just before that when the 49ers got away with a head butt identical to the one the Panthers had been penalized for, or for ref Carl Cheffers not penalizing San Francisco for having too many men in the huddle as they prepared for the TD play. (Cheffers told a pool reporter he hadn't set the ball, so it was OK to have 12 men. The pool reporter checked the replay and said Cheffers did set the ball, with 12 Niners in the huddle.)

Like New England the night before, San Francisco seemed to get just about every break from the officiating crew,

Normally it is a bad idea to blame the refs, generally its human error and law of averages balance things out.

This is not one of those times and stinks to high heaven. At the least the refs gave the 49ers 10 first half points completely changing the entire game.

We should've been up 10-0 at half

I'm not sure what you were watching. The two long drives we had were largely penalty free. The one at the end and beginning of each half. There were a coupe (one, maybe two) bad calls and you guys are acting as if every single flag was a blatant non penalty.

i watched the game that happened.

9ers first FG was setup by the bad roughing call, which Aikman and company pointed out at the beginning.  Otherwise was 4th and 10 and 49ers are punting, instead it  setup that FG.  3-0 9ers

Second 9ers FG was setup first by not calling Holding on Willis which lead to the INT, then on ANOTHER 3rd down bad call on the "head bunt" which instead of Punting....again put 49ers in FG range.  6-0

Then, after not calling multiple 49er Head bunts by Boldin and company the BS that happened at the end of the first half that got the 49ers TD and 13 first half points, all based on the Refs handing them to them.

The officiating was the difference, statistically we beat the 49ers even with the flat 2nd half.

The bad calls literally gave the 49ers at least 10, maybe 13 of their points in the 1st half.  Totally different ball game if you take that away
