#3138630 Do you have any confidence in ATL to beat NO?

Posted by Boxhead85 on 16 December 2014 - 12:05 AM

I think ATL will beat NO to set up an NFC South clincher for Week 17.

The goal is to go to the Superbowl. It's still within reach...so I'd rather have a shot than no shot at all (although I think the Packers have it in them to take it all the way). The defense looked good last week. Maybe that's just the jolt it needs to get our early season groove back. We'll beat Minnesota--there's no doubt about that.

How about we make the playoffs and fire them both anyway?

I would be ecstatic! 9 seconds in the pocket? Yes please...

#3054788 Three keys to get that W

Posted by Boxhead85 on 30 October 2014 - 08:26 AM

1 - Win time of possession. How? Run the ball on 1st and/or 2nd downs to make 3rd downs 4 yards or less. Sure, running the ball has been a challenge at times this season, but after seeing J-Stew's success last week, and with the return of D-Lo, we should ride that momentum to manage the game. This should take some of the pressure off the line, and help open up the passing game.

2 - Get Olsen involved.

3 - Stop Mark Ingram. We've done it before. We can do it again. Green Bay lost because they weren't ready for the run game. Sure, Drew Brees could light it up still, but making them one dimensional increases our chances to victory.

thats why i said it was bullshit.

Quoted the wrong post. Sorry man.

#2985996 Anderson is a better option than Cam right now

64% completions, 728 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs in three games this season. Imagine those numbers being higher if both 1) the O-line would protect him and; 2) the running game existed. You're dumb.

I'm Boxhead85, from the Washington DC Metro area. Became a fan when they were introduced to the NFL. Was not an NFL until then. My favorite pie is apple.

#2788319 Is 4th and 1 now automatic?

Posted by Boxhead85 on 15 May 2014 - 11:54 AM

I would say 80% of the time, which is almost automatic...but it also depends on field position.

#2687974 Quick Question....

Posted by Boxhead85 on 12 March 2014 - 05:01 PM

A core player is a player in their prime to build the team around. We have those in Cam, Kuech, CJ, Kraken, Star, and they are all about to be or already in their prime. Letting Smitty, Gross and our old core go was inevitable. And to those who thinks we can't contend are crazy. Maybe we don't have any receivers on paper, but when we sign Nicks, Avant, or Sidney Rice, that will be a start. Until then, we still have DeAngelo, who is more than capable, and J-Stew, who I know has the itch. We WILL be fine.

#2668385 Kelvin Benjamin loves the panthers

Posted by Boxhead85 on 27 February 2014 - 11:47 AM

I'm on board. Love the CN KB combo. Cam throws high Benjamin goes high. Match made in heaven.

150% TRUE. I'm in if he is on the board at 28 (although I know Baltimore wants him bad).

No Decker. He is a product of Peyton. I do like Hakeem Nicks and/or Mario Manningham. I also am a fan of D-Will and would like to retain him and pray he takes a pay cut...
