  1. https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bs-sp-nfl-mock-draft-2020-third-version-20200120-trfl3r7ofbf7ljqav2ua4jcnga-story.html So this isn't a bad mock in terms of trades and what the mock has teams going after. Raiders trade up with us take pick 7 and draft their Derek Carr replacement in Justin Herbert. Panthers receive picks 12, 18, and 80th pick. With the 12th pick Panthers luck up and their dream comes true with snagging a top 5 player at pick 12 in DT Derrick Brown. A few picks later Panthers pick their Kuechly replacement with the best inside linebacker in the draft in MLB Kenneth Murray out of Oklahoma. I love this mock immediately fills out 2 biggest holes on the defensive side of the ball. I would be happy if this happened draft night. But we all know its up in the air until draft night.
  2. Harbaugh 44-19 regular season record and 5-3 postseason. 4 seasons 2 NFC champ games 1 win and a Super Bowl Appearance. Can’t say he’s not qualified.
  3. what a disappointing trade deadline day... typical for Panther fans though lol.
  4. We ain’t going to do poo... we going to sit back and watch everyone make moves to get better. “Answer is on the roster” Rivera won’t let us do anything. Don’t get hopes up. Little over an hour left and no word we’ve kicked tires on anyone
  5. At this point, following what the Patriots, 9ers, Texans, etc are doing to better their roster right now to compete right now, we should make a move. I don’t think it’ll happen but Ron never makes moves like this. Trent Williams or a #1 WR or some secondary help would be ideal! Not holding my breathe. That whole “don’t sacrifice your future with trading picks” should be out the window as Greg, Cam, Addison, and other vets are over the hill with health and age and we should be in a win now mode. CMC has been carrying this team along with the defense so far this season (aside from yesterday’s game) and they need help. My concern with CMC accounting for 56% of the offense has been in fear for his long term durability as Norv and Aron are running this man to death.
  6. Garrett will make this roster some way, some how. I like Hill and wish he would fulfill the potential be possesses but what I am seeing from Garrett the dude is a football player and he fits our scheme. If he balls out don't be surprised you see Hill gone.
  7. Ah understandable. IMO he will be an upgrade to Cotchery once he gets those routes down. Being Long-legged like that does take some time to get that big body moving. In the highlights ive seen about 85% of his balls hes caught where deep 20+ yarders for big gains. I love the way he high points the ball and lays his body out like a shorter receiver. Probably one of the UDFAs I've looking forward to seeing in preseason the most. Dude is gonna make the 53.
  8. a "Taller Cotchery" lol really? Garrett is 6'3 and ran a 4.53 at the combine. Cotchery prolly was in the 4.6-4.7 range last season for us. Garrett is going to be a beast. I could see Garrett splitting time with Philly and Funchess by mid-season. Dude is going to surprise a lot of people.
  9. My Day 2-3 WTF pick as far as QB's go for the Panthers was Dak Prescott but I think the Cowgirls are going to take him at the beginning of the 3rd. So I am going to go out and say we take 1 of these guys in the later rounds: Jacoby Brissett, QB, N.C. State Height: 6-3. Weight: 231. Arm: 32.88. Hand. 9.5. 40 Time: 4.94. Projected Round (2016): 3-5. Jeff Driskel, QB, Louisiana Tech Height: 6-3. Weight: 230. Arm: 32.5. Hand: 9.75. 40 Time: 4.56. Projected Round (2016): 6-FA. Vernon Adams Jr., QB, Oregon Height: 5-11. Weight: 200. Hand: 9.13. 40 Time: 4.84. Projected Round (2016): 6-FA. Note that all of these guys are athletic and can extend the plays with their legs. Wouldn't have to change schemes with these guys. Not saying this is even going to happen but wouldn't be surprise with DA and Webb getting "older" My pick would be Driskel athletic big kid with wheels. 4.56 in the 40. Strong Arm. Could be good development piece for Back up.
  10. If we trade up I think itll be into the 40's range and select either Hunter Henry, Kendall Fuller, or Sterling. If we stay at 62 I think we obviously go BPA which could be Cravens (might not be there), WR Tyler Boyd, LT Clark/Colmeman, or Bronson Kaufusi.
  11. Now, that would be a dream scenario. But I don't see AJ Klein being worth a 2nd and 6th but that would be a good deal. I think instead of Ogbah and Derrick Henry, a combo that would be awesome too, I would say Sterling and Cravens would be great with those picks. I don't see that happening though.
  12. Too many good depth addition CBs in this draft to reach for a 2nd-3rd round CB in the 1st. Gettleman will still go best player available whether that's DLine, WR, Tackle, or Secondary. In the 3rd-5th round look for guys like Harlan Miller, Rashard Robinson, Ryan Smith, DeAndre Elliot ( had to look him up from Colorado State : official meeting with us), Deiondre Hall, etc. There are some great value in these guys in mid rounds. 1st 2-3 picks need to be BPA.
