Use the 2020 draft to build a stone wall o-line. Go into FA and pick up a few moderately priced defensive players with experience. Keep Cam for for the final year of this contract. He will be playing for a new contract behind a stone wall, with plenty of offensive talent helping him. If we have a bad season, then move on from Cam and draft the best QB available in 2021. If we have a good season, then reward Cam with a new contract. Rebuild the defense in 2021 and make a push for the SB.
If we dump or trade Cam due to health or Tepper, then the plan is more or less the same. Build a stone wall o-line for Grier, and allow him to start the entire season. If we have a good season, then Grier has won the starting role, and you rebuild the defense in 2021. If we have a bad season, then Grier moves to the backup position, and we draft the best possible QB in the 2021 draft. The new QB will be safe behind the o-line so he doesn't turn into a chickshit or get injured.
