Even when chaos happens in the Draft Lottery, we still get screwed with the 12th pick.

Yup, was hoping for a Baron Davis- type jump into the top 3.  Still hoping the NBA pays us back for being good soldiers when they bent us over and gave the Pels AD and left us with #2, but nope...

But notice, LA and NY end up in the top 4, and NO has the assets to restock with or without AD.  With AD and/or KD rumored to LA and NY, all the major players are taken care of and the NBA fixes its biggest markets.

I'm thinking Zion pulls a Kobe and refuses to play in NO, and LA trades Ball, Kuzma, Hart, and Ingram + #4 for #1 (Zion) and AD.

The lottery literally makes me want to have nothing to do with the NBA.  This poo is fixed.

This franchise is just doomed. Can’t lure any impactful FA, can’t draft worth a damn, overpay mediocre players, and refuse to tank to get a real shot at a game changer.

And some of you still think tanking is worth it lol.

As compared to what other option? Never going to be good enough to win anything without elite talent. Not one top tier FA will sign here. Our draft history days we cannot find the gems that others seem to nail.

Do better at drafting and developing who ever you draft.

Honestly, we still just have to hit on our pick wherever it is.  Tanking doesn't guarantee anything...  philly drafted MCW, Okafor, Fultz, and despite what people think, bum ass Simmons.  All those top picks and they hit on one in Embiid.

Until we hit on a pick, we're stuck period.

The Hornets have been burnt so many times. Could have got Shaq but got Zo. Could of had Howard but got Okafor. Could have had AD but got Gilcrest. Could of had Kobe but got Divac. The pain is real

Man the NBA doesn't want us in the top slot even tanking.  We can't tank forever and  won't be getting the top pick anyway.  Whole damn league is rigged shet

Honestly, making the playoffs is about the best we can do right now.  Kup needs to pick a contributor and try to resign Kemba.  Looking very doubtful right now he comes back.

    • Quote The U.S. Department of Agriculture proposed new rules Tuesday to limit access to food stamps for households with savings and other assets, a measure that officials said would cut benefits to about 3 million people. In a telephone call with reporters, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue and Acting Deputy Under Secretary Brandon Lipps said the proposed new rules for the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) were aimed at ending automatic eligibility for those who were already receiving federal and state assistance. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2019/07/23/usda-proposes-snap-change-that-would-push-million-americans-off-food-stamps/?utm_term=.93c1ac2af98f   you might want to read the rest of the article... here is a couple more excerpts  USDA officials told the call the proposal was aimed at closing a loophole that was famously exploited by a wealthy Minnesota man, Rob Undersander, who claims he received food stamps for 19 months despite owning significant assets such as property and bank accounts. The article didnt say how much assets the Minnesota man had     No one knows what the Qualification Levels will be so how does anyone know 3 million people will be cut off ? The USDA officials had no specifics on the financial cutoff for their proposal.
