Falcons send Sanu to the Patriots

This is why the Patriots win Super Bowl after Super Bowl they are not complacent, they spot a weakness and immediately try to plug that hole.

You have some guys on this message board talking about why do the Panthers need a veteran receiver? They need one in case Moore are Samuel have to miss time our only option then is Jarius Wright and guys brought on for special teams.

It also helps that they have played in the worst division for decades... guaranteed 5-6 wins a year

Not sure what this comparison is implying. Sanu is about as good of a guy as there is. He is a Torrey Smith.

Not a comparison.

It's a chuckle.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. They traded a second for Kony Ealy too, and look how that turned out. Patriots have mind control over people. Yes, they're the only dynasty out there, but part of that is because they've already won in people's minds before they even make a move.

Well it was Kony and an early 3rd for a late 2nd. I think we moved up like 8 or 9 spots with that trade and it definitely worked out great for us(Moton was the pick) and bad for them but it wasn’t as bad as giving up a 2nd for Kony.

BB the GM has made plenty of pretty bad moves in the last several years. His drafts have been objectively terrible recently. BB the coach has covered up a lot of those failures.

The Patriots will pull a Cook, revitalize a career and then flip him to another team for a better 2nd. All while winning another Super Bowl.

yuck

AB joined the Patriots, sat out a week then damn near caught three TDs his first game playing in that complex system.

AB is a baller and all but if Belichick and Brady want you to score, you score.

yep, he was a cap casualty after this year anyway, great value to the Falcons.  Fans hate it, but it is what it is.

And one little last dying dig at the Saints.

How is that a dig at us? In 7 career games against us, he’s averaged 4 catches for 44 yards. LOL.

The value of the Kony trade was a late 4th(even comp area) for him. They cut him during TC. Bill is the goat and made lots of great trades, but this and the Chandler Jones,Chad Johnson, Hayesworth ones where not. No ones has a 100% correct rate.

The Jones trade actually made some sense. They were really up against the cap and had Hightower, Collins and Jones all coming up on free agency. He chose to pay Hightower, keep Collins and trade Jones. He wanted to keep Collins and pay him but then Collins pissed him off by freelancing or something so he sent his ass to Cleveland.

I agree about "some sense". Ive heard this about the Pats. They are the only team thats honest when they said " This is our final and best offer". Bill sets the amount he sees and that is it.PERIOD. If its 12 million and your want 12.1 million, they will walk away. I believe soon after he traded for Kyle Van Noy, gave up a 5th......... That was the replacement for Jones, a guy the lions drafted and couldnt get to play. Van Noy was still on an rookie and he is a beast. Now hes signed for what maybe the best deal in the NFL for a elite pass rusher.

The Patriots are constantly trying to improve.

I've come to admire the hell out them in recent years. They are just so much smarter than everyone else.

Pats defensive coaches made Darnold look like a high school QB last night.
