He's got that already!

It is interesting to not that his contract has 8% kickers in it should he be traded.

This year is a lost year already...and then we'd have him for only 1-season and owe him $30 million for that season.

Between Drummond, Batum, Rozier and Cody we'd have $91,000,000 committed for the 2020-2021 season.

Those 4 might get us close to a playoff berth but a series win is out of the question and then Drummond is an unrestricted free-agent....he ain't gonna re-sign with a Mike Jordan owned team.

Then you move on.. And find the next Defensive bigman.. Its not that hard or difficult.. He is a Jordan guy and if he wants to be here we can pay him.. If he doesn't then you move on.. But he isn't worth giving up our most valuable assets.. Which is a probably top 3 pick or Miles, PJ or Devonte..

Also Batum and Cody are off the books the year after so it's not going to hurt us to pay him..

For years now I have been hearing about "Jordan guy(s)"...

...has translated to NOTHING!

Mike "The Dolt" Jordan hasn't attracted a single player of note.

Also, in case you were not aware, he is not allowed to use the "Jordan Brand" to attract any players.

Again read the rest of the statement before drooling on your keypad..

If he wants to be here we can pay him.. If he doesn't you move on.. No need to trade the farm for Drummond.. Plain and simple

I’d trade anybody on our team if we could get a superstar like a davis...Drummond is nowhere near that

I am not saying we will or should do anything especially until the offseason but plug a 26 yr old Drummond into this team and you have something.  He is going to want a max deal (probably) and that is a major sticking point.  A player like him is exactly what we need IMO.

I think the emergance of Graham is pushing things.    We are so lucky right now with him blowing it up.    Without that we wouldn't be going after anyone.

would you give up MKG and Biz expiring contracts for him..?

I'd listen to it..

might have to throw in a draft pick or take a shitty deal back to make it work..

I would absolutely.  That is win win but they will want something more probably.

    • I'm gonna reference this three years from now, see what happens to each player. 1. Jeudy 2. Gladney CB TCU 3. Akers RB FSU 4. Wallace S Clampsun 5. Woodward LB Utah St 6. Wilson LB Wyoming 7. Charlie Taum-something TE Portland St 8. Arnold CB Baylor
    • Kinda funny how the perpetual whipping boy Matty Ice is now seen as elite, LOL.  I'm not saying he isn't but Matty Ice has never been shown that kind of courtesy around here before. So a number of folk seem to know exactly what happened in the past and exactly who is (and isn't) to blame.  Universally they believe Cam has been done wrong, now, and for his entire time with the Panthers. I'd be interested to hear what kind of contract they believe Cam is deserving of for the 2020 season? Where should Cam draw the line in the sand?
    • Not to make light of any situation, and not to change the subject.... and I mean this in the nicest way, but why the hell would anyone go to school and rack up 180k in student loans unless you are going into a field where you are set for life? I get it, out of state schools and some schools are fun, but to be in that amount of debt at 23 years old and not own anything except a piece of paper I don’t understand  (this is coming from someone who only completed 1 years of CPCC)
