There's a lot of trash in the front office.
-
I'm of the mind that he's better at drafting than he is at trading.
-
Careful, the Fan Police will see that.
-
At this rate, potential No. 1 picks should be clamoring to get drafted here. You'll get paid well, you can ball out for a year and then get traded to a better team, plus the Panthers will still pay you so that better team can get even better.
-
Fitterer should've gotten 0. I'm fine with Morgan getting another year. Won't make a difference either way, so let's see what other trades he can make to destroy any cap room.
-
It soured me on ever wanting Kemba to be the Hornets' HC, though I don't think he'd ever want that level of responsibility.
-
I've never understood the "fans like this make things worse" crowd, because every time -- every single time -- you look up posts from people who get high and mighty, and you instantly find they posted the exact same things. Like clockwork.
-
Completely agree.
-
Marty Hurney got more in return for Julius Peppers than Morgan got for Diontae Johnson, and Peppers left in free agency.
-
Maybe don't make the trade then, if it only makes you worse in the short- and long-term? They never seem to consider that. Ever.
-
I'm not averse to giving Canales another season, but that doesn't mean Tepper feels that way.
-
Lick boots elsewhere. Thanks.

Dan Morgan to an asset:
-
I'm giving Morgan as much credit as I give Fitterer and Tepper: none. Zero. The good things that happen are in spite of them and once they realize they're good, they get their hands on them and ruin them. Just like Tommy Boy.
-
No, because he'll get traded for a Day 3 pick who'll get cut in camp.
-
Let it sink in: Three of the four worst trades in NFL history have been initiated by the Panthers in three short years.
-
Jalen Coker's going to ball out here, even with AAFL-tier QBs, then get packaged in a trade along with a third-round pick for a future fourth from the Lions. Let's all just be honest, we know it's coming.
-
Week 3, 2024, was Morgan's high point and his only win. He's going to go down in history as the co-architect of the NFL's first, second and third 0-17 teams even if he's fired after the first one.
-
There's no way that's all the Chiefs would get. Try: Hubbard Horn 2025 third 2025 fourth 2025 fifth in exchange for: 2028 conditional sixth
-
It was good media-speak. Morgan's at least not as socially inept as Fitterer and Tepper, who I imagine cower in the corner whenever someone walks in the elevator.
-
There are at least seven Arena Football League teams that are better, top to bottom, than the Carolina Panthers.
-
I've always been a Morgan supporter and I'm not going to let his incompetence as a GM stop that. I mean, whoever's the GM here will always be a record book-writing, abject failure. Just like the coach, and the quarterback, and the owner.
-
What's left to be blown up? Seriously? At least 25 other teams' 2s are far better than this team's 1s.
-
This makes me think Morgan's signing him to a big extension. It makes sense -- think about it; whatever the rest of the world would consider retarded, the Panthers do. Personally, let's deal No. 1 overall to the Jets for a third and a sixth in 2028.
