Derrick Brown is a defensive tackle, not a pass-rushing edge. He's not supposed to be a 10 sack-per-year player.

Could you rename the 2023 nfl draft sub the "College Football Forum"? Look at the team's record since it was last renamed.
-
Cam Ward.

"The guy just wins games," Tepper said of No. 1 overall pick Beck. "He's a playmaker. He does things you can't teach," Canales added. "We knew all along he was our guy."

BREAKING: Miles Sanders available for trade
Joe Bear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
You could get a seventh for him if you add Bryce, Mingo and a fifth. Hell I don't think the entire 2023 Panthers draft class combined could net one fourth now. -
Quinn Sewers

Maybe the wide-open guy was the defensive back.

Nope.

Mike Kaye: Panthers might start Bryce Young final 7 games
Joe Bear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's a speculative article based on what could happen. No sense in blowing up over it. -
Are we now actively pulling for David Tepper to fail?
Joe Bear replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
It doesn't matter if you want him to fail or not. He's going to, regardless. -
This is why Dan traded up one pick.

I'm not the biggest Horn fan at all but he's playing with UFL rejects.

Wait til you have to talk yourselves into Carson Beck at No. 1 overall. Cam Ward's already dodged a bullet and the gun hasn't even fired.

I have a feeling Miami is going to find a way to lose to Florida State and the fraud allegations that heretofore haven't really left, will be in full force. But I hope it doesn't happen.

Fair enough. There are bigger fish to fry (and I don't eat fish).

Last thing I'll mention: the 2023 NFL Draft should be removed from even being typed on this forum, because it was the crescendo of awful decisions that set this franchise back and it's probably regarded by many as one of the worst times in this team's history. College football, on the other hand, makes you think of cheerleaders, tailgates, chants, rivalry games and hard liquor.
-
For instance, you could even call it "College Football/NFL Draft" and I'd start posting rivalry game threads, team threads, etc. No one's stopping me from doing it now, yes, but it seems stupid to post that in the 2023 NFL Draft subforum.
-
It'd just make a lot of sense to call it College Football. I imagine it would naturally get more traffic, not much more but perhaps a bit, if it were called that as opposed to a draft from two years ago. But it's not up to me.

Whoever does would be cool if they could adjust the URL and category name to College Football.
