  1. I wonder how many trades Dan has "won" since becoming gm. This one is a win in my book. Getting a 7th and cap relief for 3rd stringer we never want to see start Andy Dalton? Yes please
  2. Waddle had 1 really good year 4 years ago and has been a solid #2 ever since. Without tyreek last year he couldn't break 1000 Willis contract is basically only a 2 year prove it deal like jones. Theyre not sold on him either. He's basically a high paid tank commander to make it look like they're trying
  3. I'm actually in the other camp. I think the dolphins just stole a 1st and a 3rd for an oft injured #2 wr. This is a full tear down rebuild. They aren't going anywhere this year. Malik wilis isn't a franchise qb. They should now have tons of draft capital to start the rebuild. Not reload
  4. 3 things are guaranteed in life. Death, taxes and nick f'ing Scott on the panthers.
  5. I'll wait till some actual games are played before I crown anyone. Winners of fa hardly win. But the positions of need were all addressed with quality. We are free to grab whoever in the draft. A lot of money was thrown around but Lloyd and walker were solid signings at a solid price. Phillips was pricey so well see if he earns that bag
  6. He had character concerns and off the field red flags pre draft. That's enough to take him off a lot of people's board but I dunno if anyway foresaw how bad how fast it was going to get. It was really bad but from the sound of it, it could've been a lot worse
  7. Look at ohtanis contract. 68 of his 70 mill per year is deferred for a whole decade. Even with that the dodgers this year have a payroll higher than the bottom 4 teams combined. It's insane
  8. They've needed a cap for years but the dodgers have made a mockery out of any competitive balance. Especially with all the deferred payments
  9. The players are vehemently against it for obvious reasons and a lock out is probably coming after this season
  10. Haven't seen this anywhere but a Shawn Robinson was cut. Saves us $10.5 million Now juan can take it add breaking news and make it a thread
  11. One thing you can say for Morgan is that when he sees a big weakness he attacks it in the offseason. First year was ol. Last year was d line. This year was 2nd level d. They haven't always worked but at least he doesn't just sit on his hands and pray that it gets better.
  12. There's going to be some cuts and a lot of restructures Hopefully they can trade ashawn and dalton
  13. Just an honest question. How bad would it be to have 2 ss? Who was our last fs that was any good? How different really are fs and ss? Outside looking in, ransom flashed and was a thumper tone setter. I'd be fine ransom and moehrig roaming the back end
  14. This one worries me. Good talent. Great motor. But not too impressive stats and a plethora of injuries and the best ability is availability and they just threw a ton of money at him a lot guaranteed. If he plays 14 plus games each year then great but if he gets a major injury... We have $55 mill tied up in 2 injury prone defensive players
  15. I was looking at Lloyd's stats and nothing really blew me away. A few good games here and there but definitely not worth paying top.dollar for IMHO. I only saw a handful of jags games and while he was solid I didn't see him dominate a game a la Morgan, beaston, td or kuechly. Imo we be paying top dollar for a solid lb But not one that can take over a game
  16. Bills get dj moore and a 5th Da bears get a 2nd. Bears got a good deal for someone who was already being phased out
  17. Is there any other kind worth mentioning? I know this is an expert cock draft but the amateur ones are just as interesting
  18. We had the same debate over burns and we all saw how that went. Horn is a great player no doubt. As a shutdown man corner he can be and has been elite. But.... He has a lengthy injury history from a variety of different injuries. The cb is definitely devalued in everos scheme and oc's can easily scheme away from horn. His play wasn't as elite last year. And he's not a great tackler. Any potential haul remains to be seen but if it's burns level you learn from history and pull the trigger
  19. This is good on many accounts. We've talked about his game management skills and being overwhelmed trying to do too much. We've talked about his inconsistent offense and how maybe it would be better if someone else was the oc. We also saw how bad idziks offense was in the preseason. This move along with bevels hire addresses all of this. They know they can't back into the playoffs with a losing record again. They are actively trying to improve. Will it work? TBD. But they are definitely trying and seem to have a plan
