  1. To be fair, the door is still ajar, pending the outcome of his legal issues (this basically from reading Jones' and Person's tweet). If no one jumps before those are resolved, and I seriously doubt that they will though possible, then we will likely be in on the deal provided that he is "cleared" and we have no answer at QB.
  2. And that's all you had to say. Your problem is that you want to call those with differences of opinion names--or maybe you just want to call names--behind an alt, as well as talk pure trash about the Huddle even though all this must mean something to you, or you wouldn't be hiding behind an alt (even though relative the anonymity of the Internet should provide enough privacy enough), unless someone on here IRL knows who you are. It's really a sign of immaturity.
  3. Nah, now maybe you will shut the fug up...No? You're so predictable.
  4. For the record, I never thought that he was a choir boy, but I don't believe he's a rapist either. I think he's a weirdo, and perhaps something akin to a pervert. I think he was foolish and obviously has some maturing to do. I don't think he's a bad person at his core, just a misguided youngish kid. I hope he's learning to be a better man, whether he ends up in Charlotte or not.
  5. Well, there's smoke...even if it's a bit hazy (and sleazy).
  6. I never understood using an alt. It's the fuging Internet, on a message board. No one knows you unless you want them to. Be a man, bitch!
  7. Yeah, but it's business. Every man that's going to get cut within the next few days has a story, and dreams...and some may never have this opportunity again. At least Darnold will be in the NFL for the short term at the very least. Why? Because he has some talent, and he was a first round pick. I feel for all of them. One man is no more special than the other.
  8. I've heard Tua actually looks good. Even what's his name, Dan Orlovsky, has done an about-face on him. Of course Gantt has said that Darnold looks like Darnold (which in many ways he did last night). So...
  9. I'll agree about TMJ... I believe TMJ is a potential WR1 that many teams slept on because of how the situation with his injury and the decisions made by LSU staff booted him down the totem pole. I think his decision to opt out the remainder of his junior season probably didn't help his cause either. That being said, Brady really knew his potential, or at least strongly suspected it. That, and a bit of fortuitous information regarding the Saints (if not outright gamesmanship and possibly payback), made him too good of an option to pass on in the second. Samuel, though dynamic, had to learn how to be a receiver. He's a good football player, if not somewhat injury prone, but I believe his ceiling was always good and not great like TMJ's. Admittedly, I hope I'm not letting homerism cloud my objectivity, but, yes, I think that TMJ can be a legitimately top tier receiver in the league.
  10. Well, then perhaps he should stop using the term "ax to grind", and just say "Smitty is an asshole", or something to that effect.
  11. I still want to know what he said to Mick that was so insulting. What'd he say?
  12. We know. He believes in PJ and Willy, just like he did Joey, just like he did Teddy. Just a little slow...
  13. Your "Chicken Little" comments, "negativity" and "bashing" comments are a bit overblown, if not an outright mischaracterization. I am not changing my mind. If we don't do something about the O-line based upon this preseason's play, then I predict that you'll be lauding in January how our line was middling at best. And, no, we don't get to start out with a bar of middle-of-the-pack this season when we were the exact same last season.
  14. People are probably speculating the same about us.
  15. That was dashed the minute we traded that draft capital for Sammy.
  16. I don't smoke, but a few drinks probably would have altered my perspective when watching the game last night. I admit, they probably would've been a double-edged sword. I don't drink on Sundays, so it would've been the perfect time.
