6'2 220 lbs. Good stats and a playmaker. We will be picking top five, no doubt. I know we need Defense badly. Is Ward a guy you would grab and built the defense after that pick. Add FA's and later picks. Opinions please

Four decent throws does not make a franchise QB....or even an NFL caliper QB.

How much more do they need to see of him to know it isn't going to happen. Make up your fuggin' minds and stick to it for once.

They have to find a QB that is reliable and can execute the offense effectively. Maybe it's Dalton for another year or not. Doesn't need to be a franchise QB at this time. The Defense needs all the help it can get. With a competent QB and a rebuild defense, they could actually compete in this division.

We are light years away from being "good". If you are happy with mediocre, then maybe two or three productive drafts and a few quality FA signings will get CLOSE to a .500 type team.

Just another Panther Sunday to me. A novice HC, bad number one draft pick who they gave up the farm for, and a decimated defense between injuries and trading away draft picks for the sh%tty QB. It is to be expected, if not looking through rose colored glasses.

Bryce is done here....can't move two steps foward and three steps back.

Can he successfully coach this team and turn it around, is all I care to know about his personal life. The rest is not my business and I like to keep it that way.

I am still a fan, but will find other things to do (as every team mops the floor with them). When they get their shat together,I'll be behind them again. Untill they do, life is to short to stress over a football team.

Between the injuries and the JAG's they have playing, this has got to be the worst bunch they have ever had. Totally unable to stop any thing and just flopping around missing tackles with zero pass rush. After watching this team for 20 plus years, I can honestly say this is the worst I have seen. They should go full defense in the draft regardless of any other needs. No matter who the QB is, they can't win with this defense.

He says he will be back and is not done. We shall see.

The defense is totally decimated now with Shaq out for the year and Josey with hamstring issue. Even the Red Rifle can't put up enough points to help this defense. If they win three more games this season it will be amazing. A top five pick is almost a given at this point. Hopefully they can sign Dalton for at least another year and stack the defense in the draft and FA signings. Maybe go all D. Hate to have to pass on Cam Wade if he is available. Definitely have to get a decent QB from somewhere. To many balls to juggle at one time. This is the worst defense they have ever put on the field.

The defense has 2 good players.....and one is out for the year. Everyone else is old or JAG's. That tells you everything you need to know about the defense.

Looks like early part of the first round possibly for us (if the team keeps playing decent.) Maybe pick 6-10 How do you all feel about Cam Ward in the first round, or pass on a QB untill the next draft, built up the defense in this draft. Looks like a guy Canales can coach up. Would he be worth a shot?
