Riding this out with everyone here. Only 5 more years to see the unproven Rhule 7 year college plan to work out. I have hope I'm wrong. Just expecting to be at the bottom of the NFL for a while with the clown on the sideline.

Rhule can't decide on a QB. What makes Tepper think he can decide on an OC? Dumpster fire HC needs rockstar OC to remain HC? So, wouldn't everyone believe rockstar OC is the reason for the turnaround instead of Rhule? Tepper wants a Jimmy Johnson hires Norv Turner to replace David Shula scenario. Norv had Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, Johnston, Novacek, and an OL to work with. Rockstar OC would have Darnold, CMC, Anderson, Hubbard, Tremble, and no OL to work with. Not going to work Tepper!

The coach, QB, and MLB are the soul of any team. Their mistakes and leadership are magnified as they factor in to every play. If they are not capable of standing toe to toe with the best in their decision making, then a team has no chance. The rest of the team will embody their leaders and playmaker. After that it is the core of leadership. IMO 5 on offense and 4 on defense. These are the players you pay and build around QUICKLY. They DO NOT need to be physically gifted and the most talented in the league. They MUST be smart, ultra competitive, unapologetic, and care more about their team rather than themselves. If you don't have this core in place in 2 years with an upswing toward being the best in the league, move on and start again. Then it is surrounding that core with the best complimentary talent available in the NFL. Reverse this formula and start with complimentary talent for success at the college level. The cream will rise to the top. Core players always leave quickly. Recruiting is king. The Panthers defense embodies the college formula. Cam is the best available option atm for QB. Search for an improvement and know when the timing is right when you've found the best QB in the NFL... hopefully unknown to the rest of the league. MLB defensive leader is a must (Devin Lloyd will be the answer for the team that drafts him). Coach is without a doubt a must. Rhule is no where in the same arena as the best coaching minds in the NFL. Nothing else matters if they miss on all 3 immediate musts. As for the core... You have Cam, CMC, and Abdullah to build around. Two more leaders/winners needed. I like Linderbaum at C in the draft for a 10+ year leader and I'd trade for a player like Hunter Henry, Steffon Diggs, or Justin Jefferson. Defense has Shaq and Chinn. Adding Devin Lloyd as the core leader. Draft DT Ridgeway to lead the DL. Panthers have no shot with Rhule at the helm though. He'll always be outcoached and unwilling to part with his college ways.

Cam, Abdullah, Jansen, and Zylstra That is all. The others can walk if they don't take complimentary deals. None of them are worth building around.

Never draft an offensive player in the first round unless you know they can be a championship leader for 10+ years and they are considered an unquestionable game breaker around the league.

Trade down and give your team a chance at grabbing both Tyler Linderbaum and Devin Lloyd. Best leaders in the draft on both sides of the ball. When it comes to the top players in the draft, we need more players like CMC, Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis, Ryan Khalil, and Jordan Gross. Fewer players like Derrick Brown, CJ Anderson, Robby Anderson, Sam Darnold, and DJ Moore. Neal will be good, but will also be grouped with the latter. Draft some championship caliber leaders!

Ugh... A head coach creates an environment and mindset players reflect. This has been a pattern from players and its a reflection of the coaches attitude and philosophy. This team lacks a winning mindset and that is 90% of what it takes to compete in the playoffs at the NFL level. Rhule has gaslighted and destroyed these young men. It doesn't matter how talented they are. They are decaying mentally. No good team will want anything Rhule has assimilated into his system. Get out quickly players just like Bridgewater and Perryman if you want to win a championship and prolong your career. I am disgusted and ashamed of what the Panthers are allowing.

I mailed it in for any future success when he was hired. Rhule has not proven me wrong. This was one of those times I wanted to be proved wrong. I expected to lose week in and week out with Rhule as he gets outcoached every week. I thought maybe he figured it out early this season, but his college tendencies stood out and the rest of the NFL figured him out with a few games to see Darnold play in his system.

Rhule needs to hang his hat one something and he is all in on Darnold. If Rhule goes into his 3rd season with an entirely new QB and OC, there is little to no chance at success for him.

Only 1 QB in this draft class that could win a championship at the NFL level, and he won't be among the first 5 QBs selected. So, strong pass on Howell as a starting NFL QB. UNC fan blinders are on with this one.

This was one of the worst QB performances I have seen in franchise history.

Thinking a top 10 pick on an OL is going to fix this mess is dreaming. You don't have the skill position players in place to generate value out of a top 10 pick at OL.

Things are getting better Panthers fans. We just can't see it yet. All we get to see now is the building of a bottom dwelling franchise.

Darnold's been coached not to turn the ball over. Even when he needs to make a play. LOL. Great college coaching Rhule.

Darnold's clearly been coached not to do anything when it comes to passing the ball. He would have to fumble 2 more times to get those 3 turnovers for you. Doesn't matter. Defense is still set to give up 30 points.

If you want to lose, Sam Darnold is the QB for the job.
