XL should have never been a trade up to draft. Projects are not worth a top 60 pick. I wanted Ladd McConkey and Caelan Carson here instead of XL and Jaden Crumedy. I'm not the only one, but what do we know?

Canales wants the timing of the WR and QB to develop, the QB to demonstrate his ability to adjust pre snap and get out of a deep pass with a poor defensive matchup, and building confidence in an offense to play strong fundamental football. When those 3 criteria come together, the Panthers will increase their deep shots.

Kyle Allen had 17 in 12 games. We moved on from him before his second season. If the QB's TD% isn't greater than 5% does it really matter they threw for more than 20 TDs but less than 25? Canales drawing up the plays to get him those TDs has been the most impressive improvement. Feels like cheering on someone who's almost to the minimum requirements for the most expensive 1st round QB in league history. Can we celebrate when he actually arrives? I'm glad he's improving like an undrafted QB, because he was on the verge of being a complete bust. Now, he's just on the fence with 2 games to go to decide if he stays or goes.

Calling 5 yard penalties on the Bucs during a 1st down when they have a short field isn't suspicious at all. Must make those penalties look balanced on the stat sheet.

That's the strength of Bryce. If Bryce can play like Brett Favre with his mobility consistently, he's dangerous on the run. Need to see more of that even if he's small. Even if he is going to get hurt, hat's the only way he succeeds in this league.
