They have been looking back and being blind to TMac all game while reaching out and grabbing at TMac to slow him down because they know Bryce is throwing to a spot. TMac set the DB up and swung out of reach from the DB knowing he wouldn't look. That's how they're getting away with PI. As soon as the DBs have to start playing TMac instead of playing the QB with PI, it's over because they can't single him while keeping the safeties focused on the run and routes over the middle. They will have to play TMac and not look at the QB or they will need to put a safety deep over the top of TMac. That will open up space for Rico, TEs and crossing receivers. What is Canales suppose to do when Evero can't stop an offense and Bryce can't run a passing game in a shootout? He doesn't have a QB he chose to swap to, and Bryce's passing with Evero's failed play calling is going to keep the run game and creative offensive play calling off the menu.
