  1. Yeah I’m done with this game
  2. That wasn’t catchable Jesus
  3. Surprised they didn’t throw a flag
  4. Mahomes is the MJ of football I said it two years ago.
  5. I can already tell these refs are gonna be annoying
  6. The Happening was one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen
  7. I think they were honestly surprised how well the team performed last year and realize they’re a good/great qb away from being a playoff team already. I like the aggressiveness to get a qb. You pair that with the NFCS being a tossup in the next several years because of HOF qbs retiring/moving on and it’s understandable. I just hope we make the right choices with who we are aggressive in pursuing. I didn’t like going after Stafford with our 1st pick but that’s just me. If we don’t get Watson, and I realize that is unlikely, I hope we make an aggressive move in the draft to get the prospect that we covet. While also upgrading the backup position who has potential and needs better coaching/organization, whether that be a darnold or Mitch or whoever
  8. I would cut teddy and try to find a good vet (not a break the bank type vet but someone whose a good mentor) to start the season next year. Especially if we draft someone like Lance who will need time.
  9. I don’t think he should even be on the team let alone starting next year. poo is awkward.
  10. That’s really silly. Again you project certain things on players and if they can progress with more coaching and development. He had one year in college. Yes it is a risk, some prospects are bigger risks then others but he has the talent to succeed and everything coming out of scouting reports is saying this guy was the hardest worker in the program and is bright. Im just explaining to you what others see in him. No big deal if you don’t like him or want to draft him.
  11. Like I think if we draft a qb at 8 and want him to sit we should still cut teddy and sign another cheap vet to start before our draft pick is ready. It’s been that awkward of an offseason for teddy.
  12. If teddy is starting next season it’s gonna be awkward as hell.
  13. You gotta look at things like arm talent, footwork, pocket presence, etc. he does a lot of good things that translate to the nfl. And can he get better with better coaching and nfl practice/workouts. I get it being more difficult because of the talent he plays against and it’s only been one year. But add in his physical traits 6’4” 230lbs and there is a reason nfl scouts are clamoring about him. bringing up armanti in this convo is just ridiculous. Everyone knew he couldn’t play qb in the nfl. Hence why he made the immediate switch to wr. Didn’t have the arm talent, size or pocket presence that translates. I went to App, he was just fast as hell and shifty compared to the competition and he was a gamer. That speed didn’t translate because everyone is fast in the nfl. ive posted this video a ton on here already but this will kind of show you why scouts are so high on him as far as nfl qb traits.
  14. I’m not sure about apartment complex but I heard he was really good with his money. Set himself up to never have to work again.
  15. Well he’s been doubted his entire career with d1 schools wanting to change his position from qb to a linebacker or safety. That’s why he went NDSU route. He definitely has a chip on his shoulder. I’d say that’s adversity in some ways.
  16. If anyone is wondering how Haruki Nakamura is doing he lives in Asheville and is a neighbor to a friend of mine. Told me he’s doing well and is extremely nice.
  17. Yeah we split up into several groups. I just remember SIGCHI having his entire fuging office of computers running bots overnight lol
  18. “According to Thamel, "Those who know him best use 'empathetic' as a defining trait, as he has stood up to bullies in high school, hosted Bible studies on zoom during the pandemic and says going to children’s hospitals and reading at local schools are among his favorite activities in Fargo." He was a leader of the FCA at Marshall High; an FCA regional staff member remarked, "Trey’s identity is not being a football player. It comes from something greater. That helps him stay grounded. He’s not trying to be Superman. He’s going to be Trey Lance." he’s a really good guy.
  19. Eh I don’t put THAT much stock in pressers. Like if Justin’s teammates say he’s great and a leader that’s perfectly fine even if he’s disinterested in media interviews. That being said Trey Lance is super impressive. And that was him interviewing as a redshirt freshman. One of the scouting reports I was reading about Lance’s character; his teammates, friends and family were asked to describe Lance with one word. That word(s) that kept popping up consistently were “empathy” or “empathetic.” His teammates have said he tries to get to know everyone on a human level and can relate very easily to others. That is an amazing characteristic to have as a leader. I’m all in on him. Would be thrilled if we drafted him.
