  1. I read that Bradley and a couple of other coaches in Indy have said they want to stay there is the new coach will have them. Can't imagine that. It may be just PC stuff but who knows. And it might make a diff if they get an offer from their former HC.
  2. Gus Bradley:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gus_Bradley J.L., listen to me. I have got a guy here in Tampa that is one of, if not, the finest football coaches I have ever worked with. He's an A-plus. He's a once-in-a-lifetime coach. You need to talk to him. — Monte Kiffin to Jim L. Mora in 2009 about Bradley, after Mora was hired as Seahawks head coach.[5] In 2012, the Seahawks' defense allowed opponents to gain 306.2 yards per game (4th in the league) and to score 15.3 points per game (1st).[10] On January 20, 2017, the Los Angeles Chargers hired Bradley as defensive coordinator under head coach Anthony Lynn.[14] After a 2017 season that saw the defense allow 17 points per game, the third-fewest in the NFL, Bradley received a three-year contract extension in January 2018.[15]
  3. Maybe he could use a good mentor. Like I said before, he needs to get out of Dallas and get some experience with a different HC. Not saying I want him here, just saying.
  4. Just like "the rest of the coaches" ??? Lol, he only has 3 under contract.
  5. Would not be the worst thing for Moore...he needs to expand his horizons and get some experience with another HC. Has he ever been anywhere but Dallas?
  6. lol..that reminds me of a Mark Twain [true] story. He submitted a manuscript to his editor. The editor returned it with a request that he correct a lot of punctuations. As the story goes, a frustrated Twain wrote down all kinds of punctuations..... lots of them. Cut them out, put them in a large envelope and sent them to the editor with this instruction: Put them where ever you want.
  7. I was an am a big fan of Steve Wilks. He is an impressive leader and I appreciate what he did to restore the Carolina Panther heritage and culture in such a short time. He seems to be a very good person. I wanted him to win the HC job. His chance was to do it on game day. His players loved and respected him. They wanted to win for him, but they did not, not when it counted. The Steelers and Bucs games sealed Wilks fate. When playing the Steelers, the team looked like Rhule was still the coach. And the lack of defensive adjustment in the Bucs game was the nail in the coffin IMO. One of Rivera's big downfalls is his loyalty to his staff and wanting to keep familiar people around him. Wilks appears to have the same weakness as far as Holcomb goes. I hate it for Wilks, I know he really wants to be here and he handled everything with class. I do like that we now have an offensive minded coach with lots of experience. No on the job training. Reich is not a sexy hire. Maybe he can bring in a young sexy OC to mentor. It is about the right Fitt at the Reich time and now I will look forward to great things. (I hope Tepper gives Wilks a nice going away present...he earned it.)
  8. LOL...yea, love that. Maybe Tepper has learned something.
  9. They might also be waiting on Holcomb, who is waiting on Wilks. Didn't they interview him?
  10. yea...the report said McD's wife told him to get the H out of the Indy job because Irsay was so weird.
  11. Yea, so we can start arguing and fighting about it....lol.
  12. Amazing the amount of time you spent on the @Mr. Scot. Thank you very much!
  13. @Mr. Scot You cannot receive messages...guessing your message box is full??
  14. For you: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference
  15. As we understand it, only four coaches remain under contract: head coach Mike McCarthy, offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, and defensive passing game coordinator/secondary coach Joe Whitt Jr. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/24/most-cowboys-coaching-contracts-have-expired/
