Yeah he should just be reading Jacobs but it’s never there. Regardless of arm strength this concept to the left is dead. Thomas would’ve been better running his route at 3 yards depth or just jetting out to the sideline at the LOS. It also doesn’t help that it’s Ian Thomas. You can sag off Thomas and recover easily so it’s just a terrible concept to run with these two at these depths

I agree this HAS to be on Bryce. I just re watched the play. Thomas ran his route at 5 yards and Mingo 15 and both were pretty spot on yards wise.

Blamed the second INT on Mingo for not running his route at the right depth which is something I’ve said a few times is a massive issue of Mingo’s. So why on earth is TMJ sitting on the bench while Mingo is running around like a chicken with its head cutoff

One of the biggest problems is that Young simply isn’t a good enough athlete to be able to create at the NFL level. So until his brain gets up to NFL speed it’s going to be pretty tough Even if his brain does get up to NFL speed I’m not exactly sure what that makes Young. I keep thinking Jimmy G. I’m starting to worry Bryce is locking onto Thielen a bit too much already. Mingo is wide ass open here and coming underneath Thielen. The pocket was fine and Bryce could’ve given this ball to Mingo pretty much at any point. Had he waited a split second more for Mingo to cross Thielen its a walk in score. Even if he threw it to him before Mingo has a chance to take it in himself
