If he's not ready in practice, he's not ready for game day and it shows. It's so damn obvious he's in over his head and is not ready for this stage yet, if ever. This team needs to be about winning, not about proving that he's is an NFL QB. PLAY. TO. WIN.

Bryce was never ready to be a starter. He needed to sit and that's ok, but they threw him in day 1 and this is what we've got.

This is our only hope. If the Panthers aren't generating enough revenue in merchandising, ticket sales, TV time, etc, it affects every owners bottom line. If he can suck bad enough, maybe, just maybe, they force him out. They're not going to want to share hundreds of millions of dollars with a guy that's bringing very little to the table.

I think where he may make a difference is with our receivers and TEs. We have Mingo and XL, DJ and Sanders. We need to see if we should pursue DJ in the offseason, and what we have in our other 3. BY isn't giving us that. If he wasn't a 1st he wouldn't be starting. Right now he and Plummer are the same caliber QB. So treat him like any other player, forget draft position, and put the team in the best position to succeed. If you aren't willing to do that, you might as well get prepared to be the worst team in the NFL until Tepper is gone from ownership.

We have to get the stink of losing out of this franchise. If you want players to come here without paying ridiculous $$$, you have to have a good environment. This franchise and it's fanbase are toxic right now. Fans are right more than our GMs by a mile. NFL players aren't stupid. If we see it, you damn sure know they do. Bryce needs to be benched for the good of this team, winning be damned. If he wasn't a 1 overall he'd be cut. AR was my pick, but only with the right coach, one not named Frank. Today, watching him launch a missile off balance was a thing of beauty.

The last time a QB BY size or smaller had sustained success in the NFL was 60 years ago. 60 years. Some things are obvious. While finding a franchise QB with the number one pick is hard enough, hobbling yourself from the beginning by needing to overcome virtually every physical metric is a recipe for failure.

Not really disagreeing with that, but I can't help but think he's the only one who was willing to work for Tepper. I think it was a serious lack of options.

I've been a Panthers fan since day 1 and I don't have to cheer for this shitshow in order to be a legit fan. I can enjoy other teams being run well and enjoy watching good football and not feel guilty. Tepper does not know how to run an NFL franchise. This franchise is being run into the ground. Tepper is the problem with the Panthers organization and until that is somehow resolved, I have no hope this ship ever rights itself. So until such time as Tepper is out of operations at Panthers HQ, I'll enjoy watching other teams succeed. When Dave is gone, I'll be back.
