It's clear to see that the analysts and draft community was right.. Every QB in this draft was considered a project and would need to sit a year or 2.. Pickett was the "most ready day 1" but even he isn't talented enough to beat out QB'S in past draft that were ranked better..

Dante is way more consistent and a better tackler then he was with Rivera.. And Rhule putting the responsibility on him has made him a better leader.. Shaq in the same way has morphed into the defacto leader of the team with Rhule and staff urging him that way.. And again he has become a way more consistent player... And it's not even debatable that the defense has improved under his regime from the elder defense that Rivera left him with...

Agree to disagree.. Baker is pushing the ball down field and taking chances while not having timing down with all new wr and only having the playbook for a week... Darnold being a little better with ball security and accuracy is him checking down way to much and not looking down field... He is way to conservative to win this competition and Baker is quickly becoming a leader and guys are gravitating to him over Darnold...

Earlier I agreed with the Darnold may beat out Baker narrative. . Skill wise Darnold should be more talented bigger stronger faster. But now I see mindset has made this a not even close scenario.. Darnold is becoming check down Charlie and scared to make plays being to conservative.. And Baker has a gun slingers personality and while not being with the team long.. Has shown more leadership Also with not a full grasp of playbook is still trying to make plays down field while looking on level with Darnold.. Which shouldn't be happening this fast...

Totally disagree with your opinion because you left out the best addition in your breakdown.. Steve Wilkes alone is a major upgrade because we know as Panthers fans.. Give him subpar talent in the secondary and he makes them good. He's proven his talent to coach up secondary players is a real expectation. Giving him this talent should automatically get you pumped about this secondary...
