  1. I thought I’d seen down times over the course of ~30 years as a Panthers fan. The Tepper regime has shown me that I knew nothing about the depths of fan despair. Tepp may kill this franchise if things don’t change.
  2. OP - your logic makes perfect sense for the organization in its current state. I'd actually rather have Moore than Belicheck, although that's not saying much. It's incredibly frustrating to see local reporters like Will Brinson push the Belicheck narrative. It's like they want to increase our suffering for more clicks or something.
  3. Right there with you @The Loboand @Wundrbread33
  4. You’d think Mr. Carnegie Mellon genius hedge fund guy would understand the concept of sunk cost. I guess he’d rather keep failing to prove he’s right.
  5. I wish I could give this post 100 pies. I feel exactly the same. Fitt (or Tepper if Fitt's just a proxy) has destroyed this roster
  6. I think Tepp will push for Ben Johnson or Harbaugh and neither will be interested. As others have said, I think he'll end up hiring Frank Smith since he helped turn things around with Tua. My fear, (besides the fact we're talking about David Tepper), is that we hire Belichick. I've seen multiple people push this, including Will Brinson who should know better. IMO Belichick is washed, and was only a product of Brady even in the good days.
  7. I can't believe Belichick's name is being thrown out there. It's pretty clear that his success was the product of being lucky enough to have Brady. How much better is New England this year than the Panthers? (not much)
  8. Probably Charissa Thompson. Kunkle has consistently proven himself to be full of poo.
  9. Fitty needs to send Dave Doeren a thank you note when Tepper eventually fires him. That NCSU left side of the line is awful.
  10. At this point I wouldn't even be surprised to see him decide to be "Player/Coach" ala Slap Shot.
  11. When he said that my jaw dropped. He must've been talking about having some success in the run game, but unfortunately for Frank and OL, pass blocking matters too.
  12. At this point I honestly wonder if I'd be happier if Tepper moves the team. When Shinn moved the Hornets, I was able to quit watching/caring about the NBA completely. Without something drastic, I might still care. I have no confidence that Tepper will give us a quality team, so my only hope is that he gets upset about all the negative coverage and leaves. BTW - @TeppersEgos your avatar always makes me laugh. It makes Tepp kinda resemble Gargamel from the Smurfs - which is fitting since Bryce is about the size of a smurf and Tepp is a bumbling idiot who thinks he's a genius.
  13. You see it all around you Good football gone bad And usually it's too late when you Realize what you had
  14. Joke all you want, but don't forget that big Tep is responsible for bringing music to Charlotte.
  15. Watching a movie franchise you once loved that has fifty eleven horrible sequels. You watch with hope that one of them will live up to the glory days, but you walk away having wasted your money and your time and getting nothing but disappointment in return.
  16. Ugh. Best wishes for Freddie - but this is horrible news for the team. It really sucks that Pyotr's game has taken such a step back. It was so much fun watching him during his streak last November but he's been so streaky since then.
  17. This is exactly how I feel. I'm old enough to have been a fan since the franchise started, but I don't remember feeling this hopeless. Choosing the wrong QB is bad, but we've done it and eventually moved past it. This time, we sold the proverbial farm to pick a guy with massive question marks who appears to be the wrong guy. The 2024 draft class is loaded with QB prospects, so of course the Panthers would mortgage the future to trade up in a weaker class and take a guy who would be an outlier if he is successful.
  18. I doubt anyone unless you count player moves - like the practice squad dude on ST who was offsides during the Colts first TD drive. What should happen IMHO (aside from Tepper selling which would be awesome) is admitting that this front office and "all-star" staff doesn't work and cleaning house top to bottom. They should fire Fitty twice because he's that incompetent of a GM.
  19. The OP is getting pood on because he said that Bryce is clearly bad and wasn't worthy of a number one pick but the owners and front office are incompetent so ultimately they're to blame. Seems like a logical take to me.
