They cutting QB's left and right instead of sitting Byrce on the bench as if he's done something to continue being the starter two back to back games where he struggled to pass for 150 yards. -

What was that pass? Its pretty clear if Dowdle isnt going Eric Dickerson we have no offense. -

Difference in this game is Saints are getting better QB play. I wish they would have given Hooker a chance, you can't get much worse than this. -
Mike White must be garbage from off the couch to Practice Squad now released. I'm going to treat this as the pundits treated the Headon Hooker release.

Top RB performances in Panthers history

Hurney and Fox should have been looking for Jake's replacement after the 2007 season. 2008 we possibly win the Superbowl had we had better play at Qb. -
96 Defense led league in sacks and lowest points allowed. Offense wasn't spectacular but very balanced. 1 thousand yard back and Collins had 2 sure handed receivers along with all pro Wesley Walls at Tightend. 2015 had opportunistic defense, Norman, Davis, Kuechly, and crew strong run game with Cam and Stewart, underrated passing attack. 2003 was probably the best overall team, Steve Smith's and Musin Muhammad in their prime, Steven Davis plowing over people, and Julius Peppers and Kris Jenkins and crew dominating in the trenches.

DeAngelo Williams: 1515 yards (2008) Steven Davis: 1444 yards (2003) Christian McCaffrey: 1387 yards (2019) Chuba Hubbard: 1195 yards (2024) Jonathan Stewart: 1133 yards (2009) DeAngelo Williams 1515 yards in 2008 are most in Panthers history for a season this was when Double Trouble was at it's height. That year he averaged 94 yards a game. Steven Davis missed 2 games 2003 so he comes in at the most yards per game in a season at 103 yards. Mccaffrey averaged 86 yards a game in his 2019 campaign he also recorded 1005 yards receiving making his season statistically the best in Panthers history for a RB, had the Panthers had a better record he could have been a favorite for MVP. Dowdle currently is averaging 81 yards a game despite only starting 3 games thus far. In the games he has started 206, 183, 130 he's averaging 173 yards. In Green Bay he rushed for 130 despite having a 21 yard run wiped out due to illegal procedure penalty that could of saw a 150 yard day. Top 5 yards per carry. Dowdle 5:6 (2025) Williams: 5.5 (2008) Stewart: 5.1 (2009) Mccaffrey: 4.8 (2019) Hubbard: 4.7 (2024) If Dowdle continues even close to the pace he's on he's poised to break DeAngelo Williams single season Panther rushing record.

Teddy Bridgewater had three 1000 yard receivers that has never been done in Panthers history outside of that, he was better than any Qb on that list not named Newton, Delhomme, Collins, Beuerlein. 1.Newton - MVP, Superbowl 2015 2.Delhomme - Most successful tenure, Superbowl 2003, NFC championship loss 2005. 3.Collins - 2nd year starter led us to NFC Championship 1996. 4.Beuerlein - Best pure passer, single season leader in pass yards. 5.Bridgewater- Highest QB completion 69.1 % in franchise history for a season.

Some of these takes lol -
Some more film breakdown this time highlighting the Panthers offense vs Packers defense. Interesting to note the Panthers were facing 8 man boxes throughout the game amd still were able to rush for over 160 yards against the Pack. We're not talking about Miami or Dallas defense here, we're talking about Green Bay the 3rd ranked defense against the run going into that game selling out to stop the run and still struggling to do so.
-
Great film breakdown from Green Bay podcast of the Packers offense and Panthers defense. Evero gets criticism on the boards at times but he had a great scheme against the Packers and the defense was flying to the ball a great turnaround from the Bills game.
-
Rozeboom recorded 15 tackles in the game.
-
You got me brother. In the mean time I'm fine winning with a strong running game and defense.
-
Yes Byrce for all the critique he receives myself included, he's elusive and tough to get down back there. We experienced Andy last week and he was a statue and took 7 sacks. Couple Byrce ability not to take sacks and Rico ability to get positive yardage, very few negative plays, if they don't make costly turnovers it's a very good ball control offense. Green Bay only had 3 drives in the 1st half and the last one was a 2 minute drive at the end of the half, so that's how the Panthers can compete with some of the better teams.
-
He's been an ok back. He was a rotational player up until 2024 season. He rushed for an respectable 1100 yards as the feature back last season but he's never been a big time gamechanger just a grinder. The best version of this Panther rushing attack is what you saw today when Chuba is called to spell Rico when he needs a breather none of that alternating series.
-
Lol as if you know what the Panthers will or don't do. At the end of the day they either make winning decisions or they dont. Your total numbers still fail in comparison for what it's worth.
-
Agreed Chuba's been a good player on some bad teams not knocking him for giving his all. But Panthers should be trying to upgrade the roster across the board when given the chance and playmakers you can lean on week to week don't just fall out the sky.
-
2023: 17 games Chuba Hubbard: 902 yards - 3.8 ypc Only once in 17 game season did he go over 100 yards, when he rushed 104 against Tampa. Panthers had 2-15 record. 2025: 9 games Rico Dowdle: 735 yards - 5.6 ypc Averaging 173 rush yards in his only 3 starts, team has won all 3 games, above .500 in November. Levels to it.
-
They definitely shouldn't quit those days jobs. Philadelphia Eagles just last season rode Saquan Barkley to a Superbowl. You need a playmaker at that position for teams who don't have Mahomes, Manning, or Brady quarterbacking the team.
-
That works against them because they all have to play each other. Same for NFC West. If the Panthers can sweep the Saints and Falcons that would go along way in the playoff race.
-
I got a fever. And the only cure is more Rico Dowdle.
