Don't feel too bad this Panthers team isn't as bad as most NFL fans think if they play within themselves stick to what they do best. Its only when they go outside that formula for whatever reasons things get crazy. Good luck the rest of the way, Green Bay is still a solid team and in good position in the NFC.

Whatever metric you want to go by. Yards a game. Total rush yards Yards a carry. Top 5 Who knows if he would have gotten the keys to the car from the start where those numbers would be.
-
He better than pre-injury Hubbard by far. Better than post-injury Hubbard by a landslide.
-
Top 5 in Production you know what counts. What other metric are you defining it? We just went in and beat a 5-1 team at home and the offense was fueled by the running game. Tepper and some of the fans have been waiting for their "Ptarick Mahomes" to walk through the door for a few seasons now at the behest of other positions on the team how has that worked out so far? We have a guy playing at an elite level and has ilus playing meaningful football in November since forever it seems. And you guys want to act as if that's not a player we need, just wait until we get our Qb just wait....

Take a look at the stats when the games finish today. And that's on 3 starts.

Foreman looked nothing like Rico, he would have a big game and then would be a dud the next game. He couldn't make something out nothing, but with some blocking he could break one on you for sure. Foreman was off the scrap heap, Rico was a 1000 yard back last season after starting as a backup, he's was slept on more than anything. His play ignites the whole team offense and defense. You don't just thank a top 5 player at his position for his service and let him walk. Green Bay was the 3rd ranked rushing defense in the league and couldn't stop him.

I dont think it's a team thats hard to figure out, the formula for winning has been on display for a few weeks now.
-
I know people notice the explosive way he runs, but his biggest attribute is his vision. He finds the right holes, he was a option read QB in high school, so he understands blocking schemes and how to read the the way the defense is playing the run, which I think gives him an advantage.
-
Give Evero defense some credit. Truth be told his bend but dont break keep everything in front of you defense is tailor made for Green Bay's offense who are the standard take big shots offense. The Panthers defense is improving but they need the offense to play complimentary ball control and let them stay fresh throughout the game.

The pass to McMillan on the last drive, before Rico broke the 19 harder, Bryce passing is what kept the sticks moving. I didn't say he played great, I said he made some clutch plays.
-
At no point was I comparing their style of play.
-
He also made bone headed decisions and was wildly inaccurate at times not saying the style of play is similar. Just the formula of how the Panthers need to play to win.
-
Bryce is a interesting case. His play doesnt wow you, but when called upon he makes some clutch plays. We had that before with Delhomme a good running and some good defense that style of play can keep games close and win some games.

Some Panther fans on Huddle "let's trade Dowdle while he's hot we can ride with Chuba and Ettiene. Bad take, bad, bad, take.

OFFICIAL Panthers @Packers GameDay Thread
Pantherxtreme replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I told you just give Rico the ball and this offense is much more in sync. Should have been our gameplay against Buffalo 31st ranked rush defense. Green Bay is no slouch they are the 3rd ranked rush defense in the league -
Would you be willing to trade Chuba?
Pantherxtreme replied to Jackson113.2's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes. If they have assurance they can resign Rico Chuba on the season has played in 6 games and has 282 yards that's 47 yards a game and that was the easy part of the schedule if you extrapolate that for the remaining 9 games that's 705 yards on the season. He's a good rotational back but if you can get some compensation via a trade then go for it. Canales was out here handing out participation trophy in the National Football League and some fans were echoing it, "he wanted to give Chuba a chance to win his starting job back." The way it works usually when a starter gets injured amd comes back he's giving the starting role back because it's assumed he's better than the backup filling in. There's no way based on Chuba's play before the injury and afterwards (Jets game) Canales or anyone else thought Chuba gave us the best chance to win against Buffalo whereas he got the most snaps and the most carries in the game. -
Malpractice would be the Panthers going into next season with an inconsistent passing game and Chuba as the lead back we've seen what that offense looks like the past few seasons. If Byrce is going to succeed we're going to need to be a able run the ball. Again my point if Rico balls out as in a top 5 rusher the remaining of the season Panthers would be crazy not to try and sign him. He's a local product who grew up in Asheville not too far from Charlotte I'm sure his preference would be playing for the home team.

if you look at the numbers going back to last year when he started for Dallas the last part of the season Rico has been one of the most efficient rushers in the league. I dont believe this claim by the way, Canales just hinted in the presser this week they're going to be giving Dowdle a bigger role in the offense.
