We have literally no direction at the QB position....in fact, we circled back on a guy that Rhule and co sent packing. Our OL is still in shambles. The coaching staff is still making the same boneheaded decisions and personnel mistakes they were last year. And that top defense you speak of is all smoke and mirrors when a running team comes to play. So yeah, given the lack of overall improvement and no clear direction - I think it's safe to say we are spinning in place and the "rebuild" is on hold.

From 2013-2015 we had a decent brand. It was "hey cam do everything and this defense will bend and not break keep pounding"

It just feels like during the Rhule era we’ve spun around in circles and haven’t actually built anything. Our best QB of the last 2 years was the guy they sent packing.

For a team that is still searching for its identity going into December - what exactly is this “brand” that Rhule keeps referencing?

I like how he included "a real NFL starting QB" without mentioning the fact that Rhule is the one who sent him packing off the jump and the only reason QB1 is back is because Tepper laid the hammer down on this incompetent staff.

Cam played elite. Unfortunately we have ineptitude at coaching staff and a defense that can’t match the energy.

In all seriousness I hate this idea. Maybe we are okay to do it for this game, but this should not be the move going forward.

If Rhule said it out loud I look for us to do the exact opposite.

I know a number of folks who’ve had Smith record vids through Cameo. He does a pretty good job. I imagine it’s just something to do while he’s bored.

I’m just wondering why a lot of the folks who have/had no problem pointing out Cam’s flaws are having a real problem bringing that same energy to Darnold’s play. “But he could improve” “He’s only 23” ”the oline!!!!”
