Receivers think they playing hot potato.
-
Chark literally throws the ball out of his hands. What the actual fug.
-
Shocker, Stroud looks bad when pressured immediately. I can’t believe he couldn’t find a pass 40 yards downfield while that was happening! Pathetic.
-
Third and long conversion coming up.
-
Oh surprise surprise 6 yard carry to get out of their end zone like it’s nothing.
-
Yeah we have literally one receiver we can rely on to even catch the ball when it hits him in the hands and the worst OL in the league.
-
Omg CJ Stroud clearly the better pick his team was actually able to run it in from 1!
-
Just throw to Thielen and only Thielen.
-
Durrr I can’t believe Bryce never go deep how could he give that face mask up like that!
-
Funny how much better the QB looks when the OL is blowing the DL 4yds off the line for a whole drive to open up the run game and the receivers actually catch the balls thrown to them.
-
Yeah can’t believe all the holding Bryce was doing and then making Ekwonu whiff his block so that he could start his first drive from the 0.5yd line and then making Mingo drop a pass for first down. Bryce Young is clearly the problem.
-
Somebody should tell these Texans receivers they are supposed to be dropping the ball from the rookie QB. Can’t be helping these rooks out by doing their jobs out there.
-
Can’t believe how bad Bryce Young has looked on this drive. Single handedly giving up 4ypc to the Texans after hitting Mingo too hard in the hands with the football. What a bum.
-
You know there are other QBs on the chart with small sample sizes? Stroud, Pickett, Howell, just to name a few. But you’re right we don’t have open throws per pass attempt. Would love our resident statistician here to break down the open throws per pass attempt. Would you do it? Wouldn’t be hard. Would love that data.
-
Well look at Thielen’s stats. He’s getting accurate throws. What’s your point? Also, when your average is just barely over 2 that means there’s a lot of times when it’s less than 2. Acting like he’s got separation on every play because of an average, and a pretty low average, is just false. He’s very clearly getting the ball when he’s open. The problem is there are just too many plays per game when nobody is getting any separation.

I think that was JJ and that call was absolute bullshit. Defender fell down trying to get low and Morales was blocking him.
-
ACC refs absolutely jobbing UNC at home. Should have been up 31-24 on a TD called back on a Panthers level bogus holding call. This league just dumb af does not deserve relevance always getting in the way of the top schools. Who tf makes that call against your undefeated t10 team in favor of your bottom team. It’s a bad call no matter what but jfc.

Not really sure what y’all think I’m saying. It’s shaming somebody now to say it’s logical to include the only guy with money in your lawsuit? It’s victim blaming? Gtfo. Talk about values while at the same time making up your own meaning to somebody else’s words so that you can claim a moral highground. That’s some low poo, go foist your moral character somewhere else.
-
It’s not surprising and doesn’t really change anything. Family wants money, includes richest person they can.
-
He did terrible at pass blocking and was getting beat like a drum. He just didn’t get credited with the hurries because Bozeman, Mays, and Throckmorton were all getting beat like a drum too and were credited with giving up the hurries first.

If you want a #1, you go get Devante Adams
WUnderhill replied to RumHam's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why would Adams be any happier here than Vegas? -
Fun fact: if the Broncos had given up just a meager 55 points to the Dolphins instead of 70, the Panthers defense would stand alone as the worst in football.

There were also reports of Dalton requesting more deep balls. I think part of the “training wheels” for Young is simply trying to avoid him becoming the next David Carr cautionary tale behind this horrendous OL. It makes sense that they would allow Dalton to take more risks, and he got hit A LOT that game for his troubles which nobody is bringing up.
