  1. He will be there at 9. No need to trade up. He will be 4th out of the perceived top 4 taken.
  2. There’s hardly a difference between Darnold or Brissett. I don’t want either one starting more than a few games
  3. That’s why I said play him until the new kid is ready. I don’t think he should be the answer for the whole season. But I’d rather start with him and have a rookie waiting than trade for Carr.
  4. Might as well roll with Sam as long as we go QB in round one. Let him start the season and our new kid play when he’s ready.
  5. Mike Evans and Tom Brady on the verge of retirement killed us in the biggest game of the season. Before that, it was Mitch fugging Trubisky. We saw enough of Wilks defense to know we didn’t want him
  6. Posters on here want to find the next Cam so badly. It ain’t this dude.
  7. It would be hard for me to imagine it. Considering our defense got worse when he took over. Personally, even with all that talent, I think their defense takes a step back regardless who gets that job. Ryans was very, very good. It will be hard to replace him.
  8. I hope we pick him at this point so I can see some of you guys cry. Good grief
  9. Nobody is anointing Reich the GOAT. He is a refreshing change of pace from what seems like the past 20 years. In many ways especially compared to Rhules tenure. We get someone who: - Had a winning record despite working with limited QBs every year at his prior job - Is fluent and knowledgeable on the right side of the ball - Has proven in a very short amount of time he is hiring adults and football people on his staff. Hires that are making splashes around the NFL in positive ways - Although it hasn’t happened yet, all indications are with this hire, we will be taking a QB in the first round of the draft. A move that is well overdue There’s a lot to be optimistic about. Our roster is not complete but it is ready to compete if we get a solid QB. Pair him with an offensive vet like Reich, we could have the South on lock for quite some time.
  10. Huge! Another reason to be excited for next season
  11. I think if we trade up it’s for Stroud, personally. If we sit tight, the only QB available at 9 is probably Richardson. Always take news like this with a grain of salt in February. Long ways to go. Lots of teams nervous they won’t get the guy they want.
  12. Wilks being interviewed for DC in San Fran? Hope he gets that chance. Although our defense seemed to dip here once he took over.
  13. I wasn’t saying it in a negative way. We would all love to have another Cam. That also means some people will latch on to the perceived closest thing, even if they’re not at all close.
  14. It’s a lazy comparison. Nobody cares he wants another Cam Newton. We would all like that. Anyone who thinks of Cam watching AR is doing some extreme wishful thinking.
  15. Nobody would want to draft this kid if Cam Newton never played on the Panthers.
  16. Unless we trade up for him Levis won’t be our pick. He will go before we get the chance to pick him. If we stay put, Richardson is the only realistic pick at QB. He’s dead last of the four in basically every mock draft. Which makes sense, considering so many on this board are enamored with him.
  17. No way he comes back after pulling this twice. I think it’s really over. Probably an unpopular opinion on this board but I’ll miss seeing him play. I just turned 30, I don’t know an NFL without Tom Brady. The first year I started following football game by game was right at the start of his career. The year the Panthers won 1 game. Been in love with the sport and obviously the Panthers since. It’ll just be weird at first. But I wish him the best of luck in his next life. He will probably kill it in the booth.
  18. Lol, those two couldn’t be a better fit for each other. Go ahead, Denver. Give up picks from your already crappy team only to get pooed on by Mahommes and Herbert twice a year.
  19. The amount of Panthers casuals still complaining about this hire and mentioning Wilks on social media is baffling.
  20. I don’t think there’s any question we trade up. We have to. Recycling QBs has been disastrous
  21. Stroud is without a doubt my top choice. All for trading up
  22. We have to take a shot at a QB at some point in the draft. Why not this year? If Reich wants Stroud, do what you have to to go get him.
  23. @TheMaulClawhonest question, do you think it was a red flag for Wilks that no other team was interested in hiring him? Not even for a coordinator role? Correct me if I’m wrong, he has not gotten a single interview request other than the Panthers. I don’t think he did as great of a job as a lot of fans think he did. It was alright, but by no means great. Just my opinion
  24. Bottom line. It’s scary that so many people acting outraged can’t see the simple facts of the situation.
