  1. Any price is different than a hefty one. I trust we won’t give up everything.. it will probably be a load though. I trust our front office will make the right move. Just a quick note, this has been the most interesting offseason I can remember as a Panthers fan. We are finally being aggressive and I love it.
  2. He’s oozing talent but who knows how he will translate. The people wanting Lance are the folks who would have a stroke if we traded for anything.
  3. Nope. Extremely weird for a professional athlete to do that.
  4. I guess we will see. There’s a lot of smoke around us and Watson, and it’s the off-season before the draft. At the very least it’s going to be talked about a lot on here. This story has made it further than any of us thought possible in the first place. So who knows.
  5. Source? Or are you just checking who he’s following daily? Either way, it’s interesting.
  6. So we should trust you and not the daily reports coming from multiple sources that we are doing pretty much anything we can to get him? You for the next round of lottery numbers, too?
  7. After a year where we had literally zero income from fans coming to games, I doubt in the highest degree that we roll Teddy out there to start the year. Keeping him on the field will keep fans at home.
  8. It’s unfortunate that it keeps popping up. Because you’re right, it’s just not true.
  9. Would be amazing to see what Rhule could have done with a healthy Cam
  10. I just don’t agree with the folks saying “x, x, x, and x” is too much. Obviously there is a line where it gets to be too much, but three firsts isn’t crossing that line for a top 5 (let me say it again, top 5) player in the most important position in sports.
  11. We have some folks thinking if we trade for him we trade for his roster and coach and everything. Which is obviously not the case. Most of us were happy and excited about Rhule doing well last year with an inept QB and below average roster. The defense, which was practically all new Last year, gets experience under its belt. The offensive line isn’t near as bad as some posters want it to be. Most metrics have it right around the middle of the pack. And our weapons speak for themselves. Watson would be a massive addition, and I see very little chance we wouldn’t be in the hunt for the playoffs or even better with him next season.
  12. It’s amazing we have a legit chance to land this dude and there are people on here whining about it.
  13. Yup. We are finally being aggressive and it couldn’t come at a better time. I trust our GM and owner will get something done.
  14. It means we probably have Teddy for another year. So yes, detrimental
  15. Philly will go QB in the draft it seems. We need to be aggressive in the Watson deal or the draft. Staying at 8 at this point is detrimental
  16. Anyone who knows a thing about football would agree.
  17. I’m just assuming the people who don’t want to trade for Watson are the same ones that still want to build around Teddy. Because it’s hard to take them seriously. People whine all the time about trading up in the draft for an unproven commodity, and those same people are probably whining about trading for Watson. Just can’t please some folk. Hoping we can get this deal done, the Rhule and Watson era. Has a nice ring to it
  18. Let’s do it. Cowherd said he believes Watson ends up in Charlotte for what it’s worth.
  19. If that’s who Rhule and Fits want, then it’s worth the price. A franchise QB is clearly worth those picks. However, if they are taking more or a shot in the dark, it would be a really stupid move.
  20. I think Tepper knows trotting that scrub out their will hit his wallet harder than he would like.
  21. Of course you do this. You do this even if it means giving up CMC. What is it that some of you don’t understand, how important it is to have a guy like Watson for the next 12 years.
  22. 2021 and 2022 first rounders along with Christian. Its hard not to be excited and get your hopes up at this point.
