  1. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s burns. burns doesn’t have a new contract and DJ does.
  2. 3rd of 4th is dreaming, but even a 7th would be fine.
  3. Trade him for whatever, cut him, just get rid of him. His contract is terrible. He's 10% of the cap next season, and I think we can all agree we don't want him on the team next year. It's going to hurt no matter when we do it. He has a terrible attitude. I'm sick of watching him mope, hearing him pout, miss blocks, round off his routes. Yeah, it's a poo situation, but CMC and DJ are still going out there and busting their ass. Plus, I'd rather see Terrace and Shi. He's not going to be in the team's long term plans. I think we can all agree on this. He probably has the most inexcusable "Rhule's guy" contract, even worse than Ian Thomas. You don't want a guy like that around a team with a bunch of youth at WR, especially when DJ isn't the vocal leader type, which is fine. Right now the loudest voice in the receiver room is almost certainly Robby. Get him gone, please.
  4. I think so yeah. I'm gonna do a big write up later today or tomorrow, but spoiler: Rhule is the worst.
  5. it wasn't just Darnold. They were one first down, or one 4th down stop away from icing that game for like 1.5 quarters and couldn't do it. A complete failure.
  6. He had a weird relationship with tua and apparently is hard to work with, like all former pats assistants. also he’s probably blackballed after his lawsuit.
  7. there's too much buzz if the panthers do what we all think they will, im not sure rhule survives it. and he shouldn't.
  8. he can be a backup. he can probably run the 2nd team on practice. not sure he's AS BAD as he looks right now. I mean he looks like he can't even complete the route tree at this point. Maybe he was more injured than he let on?
  9. He worst part of yesterday was how much it reminded me of the bears game in 2010. playing another terrible offense but it just didn’t matter at all. I kept expecting peppers to grab one of those batted balls and housing it.
  10. My family used to be pretty connected with the big movers and shaker in Charlotte in the early to mid nineties. They were just jumped up white trash from the mountains don’t get me wrong, but my mom was a social butterfly and my dad was funny and a great tennis player. I’ve heard a story from multiple people who saw it happen that shinn har a handshake agreement at like the touchdown club or whatever in 1996 to sell the team to Humpy Wheeler. Like toasts were made, financing was planned, new arena the whole nine. then a few months down the line, when the contracts were about to be finished, shinn decided to increase his asking price by something ridiculous. Like they’d expected him to do that but this was outrageous even for him. now obviously humpy no angle and knows where some bodies are hidden (and likely ordered the hits) and likely wouldn’t have survived in a league where you couldn’t just freely rant about the gays, non whites, and whatever other minority he was pissed about that day but you can bet your ass the hornets wouldn’t have been a farm team for the rest of the league.
  11. Shinn sexually assaulted a cheerleader, then brought in ray woolridge who was a literal slumlord just to piss off the Charlotte city council.
  12. Yeah. An offense based on countering v a defense based on overpursuit. terrified this is gonna be like the 2019 game where the panthers looked like they hadn’t installed a defense.
