like just imagine all the decisions that went into this, to bring us to this moment. And this is just brushing over what the NFL actually IS what everything that goes into it and the socioeconomic factors at play and the sheer unthinkable biologic and genetic factors that go into actually making these athletes and how incredible every single thing we're watching is at any given moment and how much we take it for fuging granted. like the nfl is just the apotheosis of america jerry jones was fuging right. he's grotesque and repulsive but he understands this fuging place, whatever it is. He's hunter s thompson but outwardly instead of inwardly destructive and he probably also loved nixon and someone just put together a huge group of people with all kinds of experience and had all the money and resources and they threw it into this. a huge group of coaches and front office people. this is money that could have gone to fuging anything else. the resources wasted on assembling this miserable confederacy could have built schools, hospitals, paid for nurses, cured hunger, anything. LITERALLY ANYTHING would be better. And instead these fuging assholes created a product that all of us could see on the first drive against Atlanta was never going to work in a thousand years but it's more than that, because we as a society created a system that allowed a single person to accumulate enough money, power, influence that he can just on a fuging whim decide to do all this. we organized ourselves in a way that some piece of poo can move numbers around a spreadsheet and accumulate this much to himself for him to just buy a team and run it into the ground for no fuging reason. Like as unthinkable as the amount of money wasted on this group of fuging imbeciles would be to any of us, life changing, or we would absolutely put into our communities, our families, this fuging guy made a fortune doing fuging nothing and he just tossed billions and it won't even matter to him. who gives a poo? the thirty years of history this team had? my dad and i going to clemson in 1995? What pathetic little culture we did have, this region has, whatever deeper meaning any of this poo has, means nothing to him. He's so fuging rich and removed and useless that he's letting his wife just make some decisions. no idea who this fuging person is. it's so goddam emblematic of everything that's fuging wrong with this bullshit country that some fat piece of poo from pennsylvania can just write a check, run something into the goddamn ground over and over again, spend millions to do it, spend even MORE millions to do it again even worse, and NONE OF IT fuging MATTERS TO HIM. he will not suffer any consequences for this. This is a goddamn game to him. Like how did we get to this point as a species, as a society, that this guy can accumulate so much by doing so little, then run an entire NFL Franchise and everything attached to it into the ground, AND IT MEANS NOTHING TO HIM. Every fuging decision he throws 10 million at is another hospital not built, another school that crumbles, another species that gets wiped off the face of the earth. all this bullshit. These artifices we've created. late stage finance capitalism, this miserable rotting imperial core, the cruelties and abuse and violence we allow to exist have led to a fat fug with more money than god who's never worked a day in his life forsaking every good thing he could do to assemble a group of complete poo heads who drafted a 5'8 child and EVEN TRADED HOPE IN THE FUTURE TO GET HIM it's this goddamn video but instead of carl sagan it's a drunk me and at the end of it is bryce fuging young's smirking little 8 year old voice and nothing will change for Tepper. He'll be slightly irritated, he'll eat a dinner that costs more than any of ours mortgages, he'll either pop a research chemical or do better cocaine than any of us can even imagine, he'll engage in some unspeakable sexual depravity and before he takes his xanax he'll check to see how many more millions he made for doing nothing and what the fug am i goin gto do about this? my shrooms fuging sucked so all i have is the angry comedown. I'm going to drink whiskey and listen to the national and probably pop a red baron in the oven because who the fug am i kidding and i'll eventually take enough gabapentin to pass out and wake up hung over and go to work for some shitty healthcare conglomerate and try to do a little fuging bit of good on this miserable pile of poo and like 60% of whatever I earn is going to filter through this horse poo and end up in tepper's bank account and in the pocket of whichever next coked up mistake his wife tells him to hire as head coach and like 37% of the idiots who cheer for this team will tie themselves into knots depending him because being honest about what's right there in front of their eyes would mean unwinding like their entire belief systems GOD DAMMIT -

“The 51-year-old former Green Beret, who served two rotations of combat duty fighting in Fallujah and Ramadi in Iraq in 2004” At fallujah 2 they forcibly evacuated everyone except military aged males and then unleashed an artillery barrage not seen since the Soviets took Berlin. A war crime under any circumstance but right now…..I mean, it could be warranted for this team. I’m not saying I’d condone it, but I’d understand the thought process. -

Not sure anyone can come away from this and not understand bryce needs to be benched right now, but I’m sure the Cope Squad will tell us. -

If you try to keep evero you have to fire everyone he doesn’t want, let him pick the gm, and probably let him pick team president. like give him belichick levels of control. Or else why would he stick around for this place intrigue bullshit -

Rooneys got him fast tracked to buy the panthers so they wouldn’t have to deal with him anymore. -

Shocked SHOCKED that moving numbers around a spreadsheet to create more numbers doesn’t translate to actually working a job, building an organization, delegating responsibility, making good decisions etc really hope we haven’t decided to give untold power and influence to people who do that all day. -

Reminder that at one point tepper tried to organize the other minority owners to get Tomlin fired. -

Lmao Bryce can’t handle criticism -
i think i mentioned this but pats fans on another board have made the same observation. their horrible footwork is eerily similar.

I don't think Dave participates also you all are making fun of her, but you have never in your life experienced cocaine as good as she and david casually do on wednesdays. just pure as the freshly driven slow. doing rails like skiing down A basin.

peter king is the pinnacle of access journalism in the nfl if he feels comfortable trashing Tepper...woo lad also makes me wonder if the other teams are getting sick of him for some reason.

tl:dr all Bryce’s mechanic flaws were present at Alabama, he was just able to overcome them because of the talent. NFL is making them way worse. Stop saying “flash” potential. All he does is have moments where he shows he can do the bare minimum. On another board I asked how so many people missed the red flags on Bryce that we’re seeing, namely his footwork. It’s been interesting going back and looking at videos and seeing a whole lot of “but if there’s one thing….” this is a really good one. Footwork starts at about 1:20 Key points 1. Bryce doesn’t turn his hips because he struggles to see the field when he does 2. he stands on his tip toes, again, to see over the line 3. His drop back is about a step too slow 4. for someone who loves to throw on the run he’s actually not great at it 5. his mechanics cause an accuracy sink that didn’t really show up on his Alabama film too bad 6. he doesn’t have the natural arm talent to overcome it the most important thing in this video is the guy says that the small things like not leading a receiver, not having feet set, etc are going to be magnified at the nfl level and boy howdy did he call that. This is basically who he’s always been. So if you’re holding out hope he blossoms into an nfl quarterback, it doesn’t mean going back to what he did at Alabama; it means creating an entirely new quarterback. And a word on flashing I see this being mentioned a lot here and other places, and even on national broadcasts, that Bryce is “flashing” what made him the number one overall pick x 2. what Bryce is doing is not flashing. Flashing is cam just hucking up sixty yard bomb to Steve smith on his first nfl drive. It’s showing something amazing or earth shattering. Something that gives you hope in an otherwise forgettable season. About 3-5 times a game, Bryce just makes an nfl caliber throw. These are throws I watched Levis make with ease two weeks ago. They’re throws that Joe Flacco can still make. They’re part of a basic route tree that someone like Tommy Devito is practicing. If this is flashing, he’s showing brief glimpses of competence. These moments are just times he can meet the job requirements. And he struggles to do this even with a good play call, as evidenced by his “bomb” to chark yesterday that was an easy TD if he had any arm strength. That’s not encouraging. words matter
