  1. Tennessee picking Will "Connecticut bred" Levis over Big Cody is a travesty. If Cody would not fit in and within a year become Mayor of Nashville or Levis bust and get sent out on rails were a bet. I'm taking Cody being a long time contributor over Levis being a Post-apocalypse warlord of the local populist dogma as a bet too. But anything is possible. But how bout Branch THERE to be selected? That's the dog I'm pulling for. LeVIS and his entourage were out once they agent sayed no one is calling and nobody in this area of the draft is super needy for a "developmental head case" QB. OUT they go.
  2. Another reach. Gibbs and the guard. Wow. But it makes sense in a way. They trying to run and get passing yards through the RB. It makes sense. But that Georgia humidity melts brains.
  3. Yep. Can play inside and out in a 3-4. His potential is still developing. With coaching he could be special.
  4. BJ seems to be a Seattle type of guy. But Avila was a target at 39. No O Cyrus yet.
  5. Honestly watching his highlights him and Kincaid are the new school style. I thought he was top three TE. Mayer might be a bit too old school for some but Baby Gronk is a nice pick too. Tight end run before our pick.
  6. Could end up a Buccaneer. Somebody at the tpp of the 2nd is gonna pick between Hooker and Will. For better or worse we got our guy.
  7. Some real talent on the board. Easily 5-7 corners with potential ( told ya so) Drew Sanders, Kion, Noah, and on offense Downs, Mingo, Washington, Musgrave, Kraft and Mayer. I was wrong bout the Tight ends. Or was I right if they so great why did only one go in the first? I like the idea of adding a O'Cyrus or Avilla but Chandler is also a option. I think the 2nd tier corners, and EDGE come off the board quick tonight. A run on tight ends and RB's as well.
  8. gonna go ahead and say it "I'm pulling for Bresee. Ella Strong." still don't like the Saints but... this kids story got to me. If he can stay healthy he could be the BEST DT of this draft.
  9. I'm mean. It's gold. Pure 28 carrot gold. Lol. Dude looks like a 80's bully in a movie. Like a Cobra Kai, skiing sweater on his shoulders, WASP whose daddy owns the ski mountain or country club. I'm not mean I'm pulling for the underdog. Hooker needs to be taken before Levis. Gboro kid likely never been on skis but he glides on the football field. Levis is mechanical.
  10. If we had not traded for Miles and stayed at 9 Bijan was on my radar. He is a rare talent at RB.
  11. The drip. The suits and jewelry has been interesting too. I'm holding judgement on that but Tyree was ready for Vegas.
  12. Why? They going flashy. Watch they picking skill but not QB.
  13. I agree. Houston is mortgaging the future for some immediate help and buzz.
  14. Top CB off the board. According to some Gonzalez is the top guy so... I hate the texans. They stole some of our thunder like a commercial break. Who picking next?
  15. Not a great value pick. Corrall and Eason compete for that third spot. When the Red Rider rides into the sunset it will be more of a priority. It may never become a thing if the number 1 works out.
  16. Tight end? Trading up for a TE. Dude we aren't ready for that kind of gamble. The Hurst hate is bad on here. We got starters at TE, WR and RB. Upgrades arguably at two of those positions without this draft. We can find a TE or WR later in the draft to develop. If we traded up I would hope it would be for a Corner or Edge instead.
  17. That's one way to look at it. A simplistic one. Another way would be the picks are like lottery tickets but with a bit of skill and some luck you can win twice.
  18. See that might be the disconnect I think Gibbs could be there at 39. Mayer won't but a value comparable player at the same position will. I like Addison and Zay as my top WR's, something bugs me bout JSN. He is a hell of a slot guy, but I think Adam is our guy in the slot. Agree to disagree but defense is way deeper. IMO.
  19. Who is this transcendental skill guy this year? Worthy of a expensive trade up. The trade partners at the bottom of the first are also likely to covet the guys. Bengals adding a Zay Flowers or Washington could break the NFL. Saints need a offensive overhaul too. They already off the board cause a interdivisional trade is unlikely. Looking at the teams picking between 13 down to 31. The teams that have two 1st rounders are happy to have those two and will likely use them instead of moving down into the 2nd. 17 to 26 seem like the sweet spot for your fantasy but this group needs offensive playmakers too I just don't see the value or the likelihood of a trade up.
  20. It makes too much sense. We recoup the pick from CHI. Get back into the 50's. Essentially moving up from that 63rd pick and add a pick before that 93rd. The talent at 39 could make this more likely and less likely. If a 1st round guy is there a couple teams will come sniffing around for a trade. But if we like him too we may stay put. We can plan for the future and build that defense in the draft.
  21. 1. Carolina - Young 2. Indy trade w/ Houston - AR 3. TB trade w/ ARI - Will Anderson Jr 4. Tenn trade w/ Houston - CJ 5. Sea - Tyree Wilson 6. Det - Devon Witherspoon 7. Vegas - Paris Johnson Jr 8. Atl - Myles Murphy 9. Chi - Jordan Addison 10. Phi - Bijan Robinson 11. Hou - Will Levis Tampa trades Mike Evans to Ari. Later in draft they will gain another pick by trading White. Focus will be on getting younger on defense. Tennessee moves up to get a replacement for Tannehill who I think could be moved on draft day. Atlanta adds a freak athlete at DE. Indy bets big on the new offensive coordinator being able to make AR great. Houston trades down twice and still has two top 15 picks. Along with 33 and the bounty from Tenn they will have a abundance of riches. Lastly speaking of abundance of riches. The Eagles pair Bijan with Hurts to terrorize the league. I know it's long but I'm so glad the draft is happening soon. Mocks need to stop. I need help.
  22. Chase is a track star playing RB. That's not a backhanded compliment. It's just a compliment. Sydney is easily one of my favorite Safeties in this class. I actually didn't know they were brothers. We could end up with Chase.
  23. If the two is moved it won't be us moving down. A trade from 2 is not likely to net a huge bounty. The Texans will want to stay in the top 10 and then also have that 12th pick and 33 plus whatever they get for the 2nd. That could be a franchise changing draft much like hopefully ours will be. But if the Texans are playing the long game and waiting till next year to go QB it could work to their advantage. We did not have that luxury. At least the Texans had a Watson in recent memory but he is a predator. We have not had a QB in such a long time. Somebody moving up to get our scraps whether at 3 or 2. CJ and his test and Levis being himself in all his "glory" will not deter teams that want to develop a QB and compete in a different time frame than the Texans for instance. That makes the 5,6,7, and 8th pick the ones likely to shake it up. Seattle likes Geno but developing a AR behind him gives them an edge in the future after Geno. The Lions have been "Goffed" similar to the term "nerfed" if your familiar with gaming. A Levis or AR could push that offense to perennial contenders not whatever it is they have been doing since Goff became the guy. Then you have the Raiders who finally moved on from Carr only to replace him with a less creative passer in Jimmy GQ. Vegas is a flashy city the fans will like Jimmy but a Levis fits the bill better for the long term. The Falcons may actually be content with Ridder at least till next year but... Moving up to take whoever we don't is some classic bitter rivalry stuff. So that only leaves the Titans who have accomplished all they can with Tannehill at the helm. They are out of the top 10 but back to back picks in the top 15 could still entice the Texans. Who knows? Man that 1st round is gonna be bonkers. Could Aaron Rodgers get traded on draft night? Who will make the trades to completely destroy all your mock predictions? Who is over drafted? Who slips? Is it Thursday yet?
