No wonder Pandas are nearly extinct. Why do you drive your girlfriend's car?

He's only 10. He wouldn't know what half the words you just said even mean.

Do you know why your son was hit by a car? Because his retarded parents let him joy ride on public roads. Don't want your 10yo child to get hit by a motor vehicle? Keep his bicycle and underdeveloped brain in the driveway or at a park and off public roads. Only a shitty and/or stupid parent lets a child that young ride around on public roads. You can argue semantics, bicycle laws, how he had the right a way, etc all day long. When he gets run over and killed by a lousy driver it won't really matter. Hopefully he will take this lesson and learn he's better off not riding around on public roads because it is dangerous. Since his parents don't seem to care about his safety or realize how dumb allowing him to ride around on the road is. Have a nice day.

I question the judgement of any parent that allows a 10yo to ride a bicycle on a public road. That is dangerous and stupid. Anyway... Was your child wearing a helmet? You didn't mention it in the OP. If not, you as his guardian are violating the child bicycle safety act that requires any minor under 16 to wear a helmet while riding a bike, assuming you live in NC. You said the friend's mother was following behind in a car. There are laws in certain areas that prohibit children under a certain age (generally 13-16) from riding a bicycle on a public road without an accompanying adult. Do you know the laws where you live? If there are restrictions, someone following in a motor vehicle will not hold up in court. You have to be with them on a bike. Are you even sure the grandma was at fault? You said she has a perfect and clean driving record, so she obviously knows how to drive properly. A 10yo child is far less knowing of traffic laws. There's a pretty good chance she wasn't even at fault. A lot of places have traffic cameras at intersections, especially a 4-way stop intersection. Careful what you wish for if you seek legal action against her. You might end up getting slapped with small fines and paying repair costs to fix damages to her car. You said she stopped and apologized and your kid is fine. Quite frankly if you still take legal action against her it would serve you right to screw yourself. That would be a douche move, especially considering you're the one that let your 10yo child ride a bike on a public road in the first place. I'm a grown man and understand traffic laws and I wouldn't ride a bike on a public road. There are too many idiots on the road and it's dangerous. 5k lb car vs 25 lb bike isn't a battle you wanna fight. Leave the old woman alone and be thankful your child didn't get seriously hurt. This should be a warning to you about letting a damn child ride around on public roads, not you looking to legally harass someone.

Eh, doesn't really matter. Neither of those teams stand a chance against GS/MEM.

I'm not gonna make fun of Chris because Julius nearly killed him. Literally. He had emergency surgery to remove a ruptured spleen and it ended his career. It appears the hit also scrambled his brain. I wish I could find a copy of that game. Peppers singlehandedly beat the Bucs. One of the most dominant games by a defensive player ever.

OBJ is a freak. He was the best WR in the NFL last year. The numbers he put up were ridiculous and that catch might be the single greatest catch ever. And similar to Cam, he was the most exciting player in the entire NFL as a rookie. That said, he's on the cover because he plays in NYC. Major markets run sports. If Cam played in NYC he would've been on the cover of Madden 12. That's just the way it is in the real world.

Taking into account 2013 & 2014, Dave Gettleman drafts get an automatic A until proven otherwise.

Special Teams Ace Do people not remember how terrible our ST unit was last year? Def- 10th Off- 16th ST- 32nd Dave made a ton of moves in the off-season top fix the ST unit. New coach, brought back Ginn, & signed a stable of ST specialists. Continued collecting Special Team assets in the draft. Dave took advantage of having 9 picks and traded up twice to give Cam help, grabbing a WR & OT that can contribute day 1. The other 3 picks are all guys that will improve the ST unit, even Shaq. Dave has nailed 3 drafts in a row. Anyone bitching about Dave (mostly homer 89/34 fanboys) is a moron. He knows WTF he's doing.

Round 1 - Carolina Panthers Select Shaq Thompson

Time out. Let's say Steve Smith was a Baltimore Raven in 2013. Going into 2014, with the same contract he had in Carolina, do you think Baltimore would've kept him? Reminder, keeping him in '14 means you fully guarantee his '15 & '16 contracts & pay him over $25m at age 36-37. Dave Gettleman didn't cut Smith because he didn't think he had anything left. Dave Gettleman cut Smith because locking yourself into $12m in '15 & $13m in '16 to a 36-37yo 5'9 WR would've been incredibly stupid. And just weeks before Smith was cut he was on WFNZ & they asked him if he'd restructure or take a paycut & he laughed & said absolutely not. So don't even go there. Rhetorical question, by the way. Baltimore would've kicked his ass to the curb just like Carolina did. If Dave had kept Smith around they would've been forced to cut either Kalil, Johnson, or Davis this offseason just to squeeze under the cap. You know, kinda like how the Saints had to get rid of their best player because they were broke against the cap. But please, don't let reality & common sense cloud your judgment. Continue. -

Panthers are Kings of the South All 3 teams in our division are reaching for players, and reaching for players to counter Carolina. TB reached for a QB. ATL reached for an athletic pass rusher to stop Cam. NO traded for a C & reached for a OT to stop our front 7. I know one guy that isn't gonna reach for a player. bup bup bup bup bup
