Nick Saban has no one but to blame but himself for today’s mess. Milroe was always the best QB on Bama’s roster and benching him because of a mediocre performance when Alabama’s defense gave up 34 points is asinine. Now Saban’s pride won’t even let him put Milroe in the game and they truly deserve to lose to a USF team that already got blasted at home by Western Kentucky.

These refs are absolute trash. It’s one thing to miss penalties, it’s another thing to continually get plays wrong, announce penalties incorrectly, etc.

Not sure if targeting but definitely a late hit. There was a play earlier in the game where three UNC defenders made it a point to avoid contact on a late slide by the Minnesota QB yet Minnesota is out here trying to take out Maye.

Have to stop rewarding teams for under thrown passes. Marcus Allen did everything right and even got his head turned around.

Quality drive right there, Carolina is at their best when they let Maye air it out. I get there’s probably some emphasis on controlling the clock this year to help our defense out but you can’t limit Maye to dink and dunks.

Nice 4-1 win. Both Perets and Vondras looked good in net. The Canes might finally have some goalie depth in the system.

I like that in the short time the kids have been with Gleason, Daniels, etc… they’ve bought in to the style we play. The two goals in the second were typical Canes hockey goals. Get in on the forecheck, create a turnover, and put the puck in the net.

I like Fensore, he’s undersized but he had a great college career and he moved the puck really well. I also like that Pono plays in all situations. Perets looks pretty good in net as well. I wish Rees was able to play.
